FM radio stations come in loud and crystal clear on this player with head phones acting as a attenna. Sound quality is pretty good. I dont care much for the user interface, or touch pad. The display is avg. The best display you will ever lay your eyes on besides the Ipod touch 4G is on Iriver's Clix 2. Too bad Iriver stopped making that player. Best MP3 player ever made.

i have a problem with my S3, because my computer cannot recognize it. It just tells me that the new hardware cannot be installed and an error ocured. I've installed Emodio and still the same thing. First i t worked perfectelly but after i formated my PC i dont know what a fuck hapenned with S3.

Iv had one for a year now and i have trouble converting the video files so i cant watch videos but thats OK. i absolutly love it but theres one problem: it lasts only 8 hours at a brightness level of 5!

you have to download emodio to convert videos. the software they give you dosn't work for videos. Just download the latest emodio on their site for free and it will work. I know how you feel. Lol

if you're getting it, dont purchase it on bestbuy...it comes with some weird BB firmware that limits some stuff on the player.

Ok for everyone wanting to know how to put videos on the s3 its slow but fairly simple. you must download a video converter, and convert your videos to the resolution of the s3 screen and convert the format from avi or what eva to svi. because the s3 only supports svi as the video format.

I have the same problem. I just bought it just to find out that it only supports *.SVI. No mp4, no mp3 for video. Frankly, I'm fucking enraged that Samsung ALWAYS have to pull this stunt on their products. I thought mp4/mp3 was standard nowdays

I've found a way to do it. Since emodio isn't fully capable to convert formats by itself evry time.

1) Google SVI any video

2) Press the fifth link, you should see a blog about a guy having the same problem as us, but has a link to AnyVideo-converter.

This is what you do:

3) Install the converter

4) Convert your video to mp4

5) Use Emodio to transfer the file, it will now have a MUCH higher chance of actually succeeding to convert it to SVI. It worked for me like a charm.

Hi, you will need to run the disk that would have been included with the S3, EmoDio is the software, connect the usb to the computer & S3,once the disk has completed and you have finished installing, open and go, File, Import, From file, find a video, then in the centre is a arrow that moves the media to the device, press it and it will comence converting the file into SVI file & syncronising,

Now its compatable on your mp3

Don't but this! I got the YP-S3 as a Christmas gift, and expected to use it instead of my Walkman mobile phone for playing music. However I compare the player and my phone with the same earphones, the Walkman is far superior. The Samsung's touch screen is quite nice, but the sound is tinny, and unpleasant at higher volumes. If you're looking for something that's not an iPod, look at the Sony Walkman S-series, its what I plan to get.

use the install disc that comes with it - it has a special software you use with the mp3. its awesome compared to itunes. it can automatically add the music files easily

easy,just take ur s3 plug to computer download limewire write down the son g u want then click to download then wen done click explore right click on the songs u want and then click add to sync list then click start sync.
