Why would playing new IPs in glasses free 3D somehow be more revolutionary than playing established franchises in 3D?

As far as revolutionizing, I'd say it's definitely the right step when it comes to handhelds.. by that I mean the NGP (Next Gen Portable aka PSP2) is the final step of the beginning of this revolution. lol

I've heard a lot of good stuff about the 3DS, so it's mostly just curiosity that I have for the system considering I've never seen glasses-free 3D.
For a handheld, it has a promising game line-up, all the genres have their contenders for top priority.
I'm glad Ridge Racer and Super Street Fighter IV is getting positive feedback.
Personally, I won't be getting it as of right now, but I can see myself getting one.
Never had a DS, so this fits the criteria for a system that I'd use regularly.
