lol dont worry about it i spoke to some deaf girls from portsmouth and they did diff numbers the same as yourkshire i think (little finger curl for 11 etc...),
in this video its the same as my exam in derbyshire all apart from 10.
however 9 can be done two ways either with all 4 fingers or by thumb and the 3 bigger fingers but all 4 fingers as the video is more clear

Whoah, that's different to what I've been taught.
1 = index finger
2 = index finger and middle finger
3 = thumb, index and middle finger
4 = thumb, index, middle and fourth finger
5 = All
6 = little finger
7 = little and fourth fingers
8 = little, fourth and middle
9 = little, fourth, middle and index fingers
