This is not compatible with Mac Pro sled. For Mac Pro system, please use MB882SP-1S-1B, MB882SP-1S-2B or MB992IP-1S 2.5" to 3.5" converter.

this means you are able to double the capasity of drives XD like from 9 drives to 18 if the power supply would be able to do handle that

Very cool. But, it looks like the mounted 2.5" drives are recessed into the adapter. So it doesn't look like the mounted drive(s) would be able to slide into cable-less SATA backplanes.
