Not that im a fan of pink but ive often thought that pink and Eminem would make a good colab after i heard pinks 'so what'., plus a few of her other songs talk on similar subject matters. So i was super excited for that track but same as you i was disappointed. I like that Eminem has given his slim shady persona more maturity, most noticeable on the track so bad.
(comment part 2) One of my favourite things about Eminem his how he wraps you up into what he's feeling and at the moment he is really regretting those last two
cd's. every one of his albums is a time line of his life and this is were he's at right now. remember when he thought he couldn't make a better track then 'my name is'? and lastly song i believe deserves a mention is almost famous, listen to that loud. All in all great review thank you
@justforthelulzzz Recovery is an experiment for Eminem. He tries incorporatin new elements and rapping differently b/c he has matured as a person and artist. I admit that the album isn't his best, but it is lyrically better than encore. Many fans and critics also support my claim.
@justforthelulzzz This harmony is pretty difficult to do. Encore is ok, only some good songs, rest are just shock-valued. Have you listened to the songs? Some of the lyrics are atrocious like "you're are a meanie," and he rhymed that with weenie. His song puke wasnt that great either.

They are shitty because you think they are pop so therefore must be shitty. Subjective opinion is subjective. Guest stars are gifted in their own genre in ways, just not in rap. And he is not yellin to beats, like on ltwyl, he actually use his voice as a second beat in a different rhythm to the beat.
Recovery was his worst one so far, IMO. I'd rather listen to Relapse any day. Atleast I can honestly say I enjoyed a couple of songs from Relapse. The same can't be said for Recovery.

I think Encore had it's moments, I thought Spend Some Time was good for what it was and Toy Soldiers was the higher point of encore overall. I can't really hate Mockingbird either, it was sweet. There's another song on the album I liked on the album but I can't remember the title of it right now.
I think Puke was the best song on the album. It was actually enjoyable, which can't really be said for any other song you listed.

This album was one of his worst. I honestly think he was a better artist when on drugs, but he is still freaking amazing and still my favorite rapper. ENCORE and RELAPSE were hilarious and great because i cant tell he had fun making those tracks. RECOVERY is nothing but serious tracks, and that's annoying. My favorite track on the thing is "Cold Wind Blows". Overall this aint a bad album just not his best, man (Rating: 8.2/10)

eminem is the greatest I love pretty much all his albums. Recovery and Encore were great ut compareed to his albums like MMLP, the Eminem and recovery they werent to his standard. Im fuckin pissed off he didnt win the amount of grammys he deserved to with recovery, 2 out of 10!! you fuckin joking!! dont worry em next time mate. You deserved all 10 in my view you are the best artist out there!!

Also, I loved Relapse. I loved the dark themes. It's a concept album to me. Like in the AllMusic review - it's sort of like if Beethoven was a madman in a mansion disconnected from the world, about to go on a cocaine-fueled rampage, A-la Scarface. My top 3 Em albums: The Eminem Show (9.7/10), Relapse (9.1/10), Recovery (8.7/10)

@turdnipper i 1st heard him back in 05 when i was 10 i thought he was good i started listing to him in 08 when i got a ipod relapse was better better content,lyrics,beats the accents wernt even bad lots of songs he dident use them encore wasent bad good beats,content, half the songs his flow was slow, but it was still good recovery isent that good to much singing,shit collabs,crap beats,good flow content was av to much emotional songs recovery isent bad just bad compared to his others

I don't know what your talkin' about, Won't Back Down was the second best song on this album, No Love being the best. But I guess reviews are based off of one's own opinion. Other than that, great review.

But the beats on this album are whack as fuck, his lyrics are alright. But honestly he already established his rank in hip hop as one the top five lyricists ever to do it. This album was one of his worst. I honestly think he was a better artist when on drugs, but he is still freaking amazing and still my favorite rapper. ENCORE and RELAPSE were hilarious and great because i cant tell he had fun making those tracks. RECOVERY is nothing but serious tracks, and that's annoying. My favorite track on the thing is "Cold Wind Blows". Overall this aint a bad album just not his best, man (Rating: 8.2/10)
