  • dual P3 xeon.... i had a boner years ago.

    today i know why.

  • FUCK YOU! xD i couldnt run it like this on my old p4 ht 3.4 ghz and geforce gtx260 and4gb ddr WTF!

  • @portal23555 Why dont you put the graphics on lowest. Or tweak the game in the Config file. Remove Anti Aliasing and Shadows and it will work probably :D

  • @BitesHisTail i dont have the comouter anymore since i got i new one xD

  • @portal23555 p4 and gtx260 = dumbass. HUGE bottleneck.

  • @nelizmastr exactly. it was a p4 ht 3.4 ghz but on veryhigh it played at 19 to 24 fps at 1280x720. i have a new one anyway

    core i7 2.3 ghz

ati radeon hd 5970 gddr5 x2 crossfire might get an hd 6570

    14gb ddr3

    1600x1200 monitor.

    2.4 tb hdd

my new pc kicks ass :D

  • isn't an iPhone 4S faster than ur entire pc?

  • @AntDX316 fuck no man when it comes down to it a pentium 3 is hard to outdo.

  • @jr540123 yeah Apple A5 gflops r much less than the P3, P3 is 109Gflops and A5 is like 20gflops max damn

  • Comment removed

  • @AntDX316 that sucks man coarse the A5 was made for mobile phone use and it is not expected to do as much as a desktop pc or for that matter a Pentium 3.

  • @jr540123 thought the transistor count would be much higher than the P3 for the A5

  • nice

my single pentium 3 is very good too but not so good

1ghz copermine (doesn´t support tulatin (shit))

1,5gb sdram 133mhz on two dimms kingston

    350watt Powersupply daul fan technologie

    40gb spin piont

    20 gb wd protege

and the nvidia 5200 fx because the mainboard is 4 x agp

did you know a mainboard with agp 8x

sry for the bad english ;)

  • @Gordonfreeman882 A friend of mine bought an AGP8x card to use with a AGP4x motherboard and it works fine, there's performance loss but it works. I don't know if it's a rare case or if it really works that way...

  • This has to be a joke... D:

my pc struggles at windows 7 ...

  • @MrDragonknight94 Depends what resolution you play it at and what graphics settings

  • Imagine what you can do if you'll install 4 CPUs :D

  • @Pirikit18 that would be badass

  • if your pc can handle crysis on lowest settings then i bet my laptop with 1.6 GHZ dual core processer and 256 MB dedicated video card will handle crysis xD

  • the computer actually has TWO Pentium 3's so its not a dual core

  • Nice Experiment !!!!!

  • well for buying a liqud cooling kit you might as well have bought a new cpu

btw whats the fps or do you have a gpu instead of onboard

  • well for buying a liqud cooling kit you might as well have bought a new cpu

  • lol it cant be pentium 3 its dual cored? rofl its better then a pentium 4

  • haha ! nice! but i have too video ! but about extreme overclocking PC (intel celeron 366mhz , 384mb RAM , Nvidia Geforce 6200) for this game/ look it on my channel

  • actually the 2 procs are used as a core duo

  • thats some nice hardware...

  • thats cool! lol :)

  • What motherboards support more than ten pentium iiis :P?

  • this is lowest settings correct?

  • Fastest Pentium 3 is 1.3 GHz right?

  • @TheUnholyBovine Nah, there were a few at 1.4. Although those were Socket 370, of which any Dual CPU boards are rather rare. If you know what you're doing (and can get really technical about it) you can buy the right slotkets (Socket 370 > Slot 1, they have the same lines running through them) with Tualatin compatibility and the right motherboard then they'll run fine.

  • @TheUnholyBovine the fastest-ever Pentium 3 is the PIII-S 1.4GHz (Tualatin core ; 512KB Cache)

believe it or not, but that one beats a Pentium 4 at around 2GHz easily

the only faster PIII based CPU is the Tualatin Celeron 1.5GHz, but due to the lack of cache (it's just a celeron afterall), it's noticably slower than the PIII-S 1.4

  • what psu are you using?

  • The only way it can run so well is due to Crysis's optimization for dual cores. Treats real dual processors the same way. Yknow all those cool snazzy dual processor computers back in the day that were really only good for multitasking, but sadly made no difference in games at all? Well, what do you know, seven or eight years down the road games can actually take advantage of that, and you get this. Makes me wonder how well some of the P4 era dual Xeons would play, they're everywhere in servers.

  • @HostageKiller Owned one of those IBM Intellistations (M Pro) for awhile. Dual-Xeon with hyperthreading and gave Crysis a whirl on it. Able to run it on high fluidly (very high with a bit of choppiness at times) with 2 GB of RDRAM and a single ATI RADEON x1650 PRO AGP card. O-^

  • no way bullshit

i have lag with P4 HT 3.75 GHZ ATI Radeon HD 4850 PCI E

    and 1.5 GB ram

  • hello guys.

    i have a Pentium 3 1.4 GHz

1gb Radeon HD 4650 Video Card

    2gb of ram

and i can run crisis warhead at 40 to 60fps

call of duty 4 at 30 to 50fps on multiplayer

i haven't try mw2 or black ops but i will try when i get the time

  • @xxxkiller809xxx

it'll lag like shit unless you got dual PIIIs work with dual cpu mobo.

  • @hateWinVista yes is a dual cpu

  • @xxxkiller809xxx

you can't play black ops,but I'm not sure whether you can run MW2 or not

you can try "can you run it?"

  • @hateWinVista the test fail on mw2. but i can still run it but with all the setting on low:) it looks alright. I'm surprise how powerful the p3 are. my main computer is a cooler master case intel i7 core at 4ghz 24gb of ram 1200w power supply 1TB 1X500GB 1.5gb geforce atx 580 water cooler 4x 120mm fans motherboard “asus motherboard “Xtreme"
  • @xxxkiller809xxx

    killer PC for you,dude :)

  • @hateWinVista thanks man. i have alot of pc in my shop. if you need some parts just let me know.

  • Comment removed

  • @MrTpengineer no this CPU is a tualatin clocked at 1.4ghz

and the motherboard the I'm using is a mobo dual core. it means it takes 2 CPU separate.

and it supports up to 4gb of ram. do some reach on this.

  • plz tell me u dont play ll ur current games on this comp

  • hey, ca you say me if you have to update the mother bios, and the mother model?

  • How can I make my Celeron D do this?! :O

  • you'r Anti-aliasing seems high...

  • So Pentium 3 + Pentium

    PENTIUM 6 !!! LOL

  • very cool ^^ pentium 3 rocks XD

  • if that motherboard supports 512mb sticks, then you could put 2gb. Then you would get NO lag at all. It would run flawless with a 3850.. =)

  • @neonzion7 No RAM makes little difference. Ram tends to only adjust loading times, it's the CPU that's holding it back.

Crysis starts playing good at a 2.92ghz dual cpu, this guy is running it on two 933mhz cpus (~0.93ghz dual cpu)

  • @xilefian ram makes a HUGE difference. look up 2gb vs 4gb crysis and yeah... In this situation u may be right tho. Ram is important when playing at anything higher than medium. Um ram doesn't do a diff in loading times for me.. It does however give access to how much ram can be allocated to crysis while it is running so the more ram the more ram will be overall allocated to the game allowing for less stuttering, fps drops and sudden lag. =)

  • @neonzion7 The FPS drop and sudden lag are times when the game needs to load more assets so it has to release previous data from other programs that are killed or somewhere in the game that is not needed

So I now agree with you, RAM does effect performance but it's not a constant drag down like CPU or GPU, it's loading times even within the game.

  • @xilefian on my system, i have 3gb. If i remove 1gb, i will get A LOT more lag. it will stutter a LOT more. =) but then again, this video has OLD cpu so yeah haha... It may be dual core, but it has low clock and cache :D

  • not bad for a p3!

  • deammmmm.... :D this is EPIC :D

  • I can connect this monitor to a i7 system easily

  • Great job.

I'd love to see crysis on a dual p4-s 1.4ghz with a x1950 agp or 3850 (of course cpu limited).

What is the better mobo for dual tualatin??? Tiger S2507T? GByte GA-6VXTD ?

    regards...

  • @kokke350z

ati x200 is comperable with 1988 craphics

  • @Arnoud1987000 fuck you

  • still crazy how heavy crysis is on low settings on low reso :S 1.8Ghz and x1600 is still prety much calculation power for low graphics

  • I have Intel Dual Core 3.01GHZ

    and ATi HD 5770 :D

  • @TommyDDoom

    than you fail =)

  • @TommyDDoom I have an Intel Quad Core 3GHz

    and ATI HD 5770 :D

  • @paddly88 1.) your graphics card is probably a pice of craaaaappppp

2.) AMD cpus are for retards like you

    vintage technologie rules

fuck modern core i7 / phenom crap.

  • Impressive! And I bought all that high end craps for nothing. LOL Good old techs still beast out after 10 years.

  • thats insane xD

  • This is DUAL Pentium 3. That means two processors. That's why he can run it. Big difference.

  • This is so damn awesome, is this acctually true?

  • this is a 100% fake, i tried it on amd athlon 2,40ghz and it was so sloooow!

  • @padly88 Why is it 100% fake? i ran medium on Crysis with my 1,8 ghz AMD Sempron with 1280x1024 with no problem at all. And it haves only 1 core lol.

  • @Kingya12

because i tried it and it was lagginggg

  • @Kingya12 lol

  • Awesome legacy rig.

  • S3, the way its meant to be played. Play to win with Intel Pentium !!!

  • so server motherboards are better at games. holy crap i didn't know that before!

  • omg

  • WOW 2 pentium 3's and 1gb on ram, this system must have cost you a couple of grand back in the day.

  • I'm going to play to win with the Pentium !!!

  • I want this computer, now...

Dang, this thing runs Crysis better than my P4HT+9500GT runs HL2!

  • @atarimon That actually makes sense. The P4 was based on a architecture (Netburst) that after using it, Intel realized it failed in comparison with early P4s being similar in speed to high-end Pentium 2s.

So they just modernized the Pentium 3 core, and the next thing you know they have the Core 2...

  • @atarimon then theres somthing wrong with your computer.

  • I have a pentium 3 back then and I believe this is fake.

  • @jacosalem28 yea well yours was probably only a single cpu this is a dual cpu board.

  • Comment removed

  • @Themaxleydog Dude where did you find a board that fits dual CPU and had a AGP? I've got a Dual board pentium 3 setup but it only has a shitty regular PCI slot. I'd love to build a rig like this for novality reasons.

  • It runs crysis :3

  • NICE! I should try this on my Dual PIII 1Ghz box with 1GB RDRAM and an Nvidia 7800GS and see how it might run.

  • i think this pc was a fking badass pc few years ago

  • well think about it guys, p3s were very powerful as an architecture. that's why they ditched the p4 arch and started building up from p3 for the core architecture. so essentially 2 nearly 1 Ghz P3s are probably about as powerful as one of the earliest dual cores and it's most definitely more powerful tahn the intel atom. he has 1 gb of ram and a decent enough AGP card. keep in mind based on spec he essentially is running 2 original xboxs in parallel and we don't give the original xbox much crap.

  • Runs surprisingly well

  • at least it runs better than my 2 GHz Celeron M w/GMA 4500M

  • not bad for a p3

  • How do yous et up Dual CPU's??

  • @eilif9 you need a motherboard with two sockets. basically it'd be a server motherboard. he took an old P3 server gave it a halfway decent AGP graphics card and ran crysis...not a waste of a day.

  • @joshsniper27 Dude thats awsome... Are there boards like this with Pentium 4? Where can i buy them? Does the CPU's have to have the exact same speed? :D

  • @eilif9 i don't know about the same speed, but i'm fairly certain there are p4 servers motherboards, you'll probably have to search on ebay or something because i doubt anyone makes them anymore

  • i hope this isnt ur only gaming rig

  • waw amazing...maybe it because your ati x1600...ati radeon have the great core speed and memory clock speed ;D

i am use P4 3,0Ghz and 1 gb of ram, and Nvidia 7300GT and i am using low setting on 1024x768 of resolution, and it still lag xD, goddamn 7300GT xP

  • dude you dont have a bad old pc at all nice i have 768 ram right now ddr2 and i got a 2.5 processer, but i have an old 64mb card im getting a new one soon thow i cannot wait to unbox it!!!.

  • what can ia say cool

  • 320*240))

  • dammmm no lag!!! lol well no matter if its pentium3x2 crysis is highly optimized for dual cpus

  • That actually looks better than my computer running cod4 on low.

  • @6:08 Where did the sky go?

  • omg lol, your system performs better than my old celeron 2.0 rig!

  • crt screens is the way to go motherfuckers!!!

  • This computer is a fucking BEAST

  • this machine was killer ! 8 years ago...

  • can someone tell me how i can get one of those mother boards with dual cpu's? You know not a dual core but one with "Two" seperate cpu's such as 2 pentium 2's or 2 pentium 3's or something like that?

Been searching for ages. lol sorry if this comment is out of context. : ]

  • Who cares about graphics? IT CAN PLAY GAMES. Even at low Crysis still looks awesome!

  • you should get 1.2 ghz pentium 3's. i have a server with 2 900mhz p3's its fairly fast.

  • XD 4 x 256 MB RAMs

  • lol, at first sight, I thought you had an octupus in your pc xD

  • hey maybe it's because of the camera video quality but i think it looks good =P

  • holy shit i have the same screen,

this crt has volume control right¿

  • Да гонево...

  • i've got an amd athlon x2 5200+ 1gb ddr2 667 mhz gforce 6150se and that game works at 10 fps.

    a p3? r u f**** kiding me?

i will try with my old k6 II it was better at games than my friends p3

  • What does the refresh rate of the monitor do? Is like like the 60Hz, 70Hz today for LCD screens?

  • @kynigh 60hz is still 60hz no matter which monitor it's on.

  • @Themaxleydog Refresh rate for LCD screens doesn't matter really, since they are not being re-drawn constantly like CRT screens.

  • @Themaxleydog "contains an audio track that has not been authorized by WMG."

ORLY? since when does WMG own every soundtrack music audio ever made?

Seriously no clue what your video had in the audio, however I've seen people's video's with that when there was nothing but them TALKING about stuff, seriously. youtube is infested with aids.

  • @Themaxleydog Don't CRT's have a 120Hz refresh rate?

  • @NOOBNUT08 newer ones do but at the time I only had this monitor at 60hz

  • @NOOBNUT08 newer ones do but at the time I only had this monitor at 60hz

  • @kynigh An LCD's optimal refresh rate is usually 60 or 75 hertz. In gaming, the refresh rate acts as the frame rate limiter when vertical sync (Vsync) is turned on. For example, having a 60 hertz refresh rate will limit your games to 60 FPS when Vsync is turned on. This eliminates the screen "tearing" that you might notice at higher frame rates (say, 120 FPS or so). In general usage, the higher the refresh rate, the less tiring it is for your eyes when looking at the screen.

    Hope that helps. ;)

  • @2007excalibur2007 Yes, that helped! Thanks!

  • this cant be a joke. im really impressed.

  • thats comptetent for such an old rig

  • try doom 3 on a single pentium 3 with a old geforce card. almost playlabe in low res with all settings on lowest.

  • Ok so the AGP slot makes no difference. but do you think pulling the CPUs up to 1.4 would boost performance much? Or would the FSB hold it back too much.

I only ask because I'm thinking of bringing my old dual p3 board back to life, its a stupid hobby =p

  • @WLB91 two 1.4ghz pentium 3's won't be much different , it's only 30% more cpu power then what I'm using.

  • did you try to run fear 2 demo, tell me how much fps you get

  • @Themaxleydog

I'm going built a PC that is at medium-performance and runs COD4 or Soldier Front, will a Pentium III 1.4GHz(512K Tualatin) X2 faster than a Pentium 4 3.0(512K) HT?

Both of them uses the same graphic card.

  • nice vid man i have a dual 800...will upload nfs carbon and most wanted vids

  • nice vid man....

i have a dual 800 with 384 sd ram...things like nfs mw & carbon runs very well

tomorrow gona buy more ram and two 1ghz p3...

    will upload some vids

oh bytheway 3dmark03 runs 1760 points with config equipped with a radeon 9500

  • overclock this thing!!!!! NAO!!!!

  • I can beleive it. throw an AGP HD series card in there, 1gb of ram, 2ghz pentium 3, yeah that can handle it all low in inactive area's.

  • @xBlueXFoxx The graphics card is actually a pre-HD Radeon, but yeah, Crysis has an extremely scalable engine. My Athlon XP 1800+ with a Radeon 9600XT plays Crysis on Medium-Low with a solid framerate, but it looks like a different game once you start getting into the High settings.

  • I love how people ridicule others when they get something to work when most have failed. This is awesome! Nice one.

  • Thats a TRUE dual core machine XD

    Nicely dun :)

  • wow ur such a nerd i cant beleve u spended all the time to play game on old machine

    i bet u r a fat to.

water coling? u no it can leak and make a mess rite.

  • @psykl0n where did you see water cooling? and no I'm quite skinny

  • @Themaxleydog He obviously knows jack about computers. I was wondering, does this mobo have an x4 agp slot or an x8 slot? If its only x4, it would be interesting to see what an x8 could pull.

  • @WLB91

The video port bus speeds on boards rarely make a large difference. Even today pci-e 2.0 slots only add maybe a 15% increase in speed over pci-e 1.0.

  • @Themaxleydog 15% speed can be a lot especially if its a bottleneck issue.

  • @wuhlei 15% increase in only the video performance is not alot at all.

  • @Themaxleydog I don't know. is it 15% more connection speed or 15% more performance?

  • @wuhlei 15% more video performance , with 2x the bus speed.

  • @psykl0n what? Are you stupid computer knowledge necessity now days.

  • @psykl0n You are underage and spoiled, "rite"?

  • I like it how these comps used to cost thousands

  • cool, fps?

  • @md0206 Sorry but the performance increase is a joke compared to the risk of frying the whole cpu with overclocking.

Overclocking ONLY shortens cpu life , period. Doesn't magically make it last longer. Which means the majority of overclocking is just wrecking cpu's.

  • @Themaxleydog If you'll stay in the recommended voltage, wont overheat it and won't overload it by too high clocks it will work fine for years.

  • @foxman105

I don't care , overclocking old hardware isn't as smart as simply getting newer faster hardware. Which makes overclocking even newer hardware pointless as something twice as fast and twice as cheap will be out in a year.

  • @Themaxleydog that was a fail argument.

  • @Themaxleydog That is ridiculous, i have a 5 year old overclocked sempron, as long as you cool it right it should be fine. Honestly, have a read up on OCing.

  • @maxibon7724

Oh yea I'm sure that sempron just flies too. like a lead balloon

  • @Themaxleydog A lead balloon can fly, watch mythbusters. :-)

  • @mattg889 Yea I saw it , even so it was a bitch and very toxic to achive so the pincipal still stands that a lead balloon flies like shit.

  • @Themaxleydog I know, but that's all besides the point, it is possible, whilst probably not practical. :-)

  • @mattg889

    True that.

Damn. I gotta get me one of these gamin' pc's

  • @Themaxleydog No, the point is overclocking does not damage if done right.

  • Dude, lol this is the greatest achievement ever lol

  • Your pentium III is great

I would like to know how does Crysis go on Intel pentium III (tualatin) cores

1.40 ghz dual mode, what is your opinion about this question ?

  • @KalmarViktor

It would be only around 33% faster cpu speed.
