Great to see this show again. But even after almost fifty years I know I remember a completely different theme song, Johnny Cash singing "Johnny Yuma was a rebel....". Why did the syndicators change it?

It was later in the series Johnny Cash sang the title theme.
Thanks matthias 1949. Johnny Yuma and Luca McCain were my favorites. Seen all the Rifleman...now I've got The Rebel to see.
