  • A great idea . Is there any chance the window could explode in full sun in summer? Solar panels need an expansion tank so how are you dealing with the expansion of the water as it heats up?

  • How do you get heat out of the house?

  • I wander where you can buy these windows and how much they cost. Does any one know?

  • Unfortunately these windows are not yet commercially available. They have already made advancements from this version, in order to bring the costs down. Not ready just yet but soon.

  • i like it because it dark and people won't be able to see in , but you can see outside

  • I've built trombe walls and sold insulating shades in the past and I had this same idea in the late 1970's but never built one. I was going to drill holes in the top of regular glass block and try various types of bleach to keep the algae from growing in the water. I was going to use window quilt shades between the glass and the glass block. I'll be glad to use such a product in my buildings when it does come out. I will bookmark your website so I can see when it hits the market.
