Lea's either 29 or 30 in this clip. Will played the role of Chris from 1998 until 2001 and Lea rejoined the show the same year it closed. Considering the fact she was born in 1971, that would make her 29 or 30.

@darkangelle80 Lea Salonga was 29 when she closed Miss Saigon in January 2001. Her birthday falls on February 22, 1971. She previously returned to the Broadway Theatre in January of 1999 and then opened the Manila production of Miss Saigon in 2000 before returning to New York to close the show.

It's not because he was the original. Adam was a real rock star. He had everything Jonathan Larson wanted for Roger. Will Chase was very good but not best. Adam Pascal had the voice, the power, all of it. You're crazy to think anyone is better than the movie cast. There's no opinion with this one. Adam is best. Fact!

@kayandmiguel211 I don't think you would like to see adam as chris, i'm bias because will is my fav, but will is a professional actor, adam has an amazing voice but is not even close to will when it comes to acting, he was able to portray roger in rent so well because he was cast for it before it was finished and thus Jonathan Larson was able to change the character to fit his limited acting ability.
