Yeah, I remember a "ok" back a while back...from here named "Corey Dillon"...You may have heard of him? Washington has had others too but just not the numbers of a texas, california etc. (Jonathon Stuart etc.) Chris Young will be a great piece to the new Dawgs! the new dawgs will get all over you! watch!
Too many haters on here, dude is getting a full ride scholarship to a D-1 program. Lets leave the talent evaluation to the experts, not you YouTube geniuses.
he's a good safety, but all of his big runs are caused by bad technique, either the tackler stops his feet, isnt wraping up, too high, or is just trying to earhole him. ive played agaisnt him and i tackled him every time. GO KW!
im saying hes an ok running back, but i'll admit he's an awesome saftey, by far the best in washington. if he is such a good running back, last year he would of started at RB instead of Jeff Gouveia.
whatever, Jeff owned tooo, so don't make dumb comments. and I'm pretty sure that you didn't take Chris down every time, you must still be confused considering how hard he hit you.

im a 6' 5" 240 lb lineman. the only people that chris hit real hard that they fell backwards are really small running backs under 180 lbs. this video proves it. if you watch actual game film on him he is allways taken down by lineman with good technique. i doubt you have any actual football sense and you probally never even played. plus im going to be a senior and your really starting to piss me off. so if you are a player and are playing this year, let me know.

IS CHris YounG an RB HELL NO. So why do they play him as one u ask. Because size plus a little speed in Washington Highschool Football Usually equates to a decent back. It sad that your states top backs have NO chance what so ever in College
wait a minute, your saying that running backs around where you live are all small? last time I checked, its better to have size and speed, not just speed. if you have two running backs with the same knowledge of plays, speed, strength, awareness, and agility, but one of them is 30lbs bigger, i'll take the bigger one. its the same here in washington as is everyone else, even where you live.
no thats not what im saying at all. Im saying that IN WASHINGTON the backs that are successful are usually pretty big. They have 4.6 fourties minimal lateral ability and dont end up being succesfull in college. Or even playin that position for that matter. The Number 1 RB for the class of 2010 is 5'11 183 pounds from Texas. Id agree that size and speed make the best backs but the dif between Washington and everywhere else is that other places actually produce quality backs.
180lbs at the HS School level isn't small. Most backs in college end up being between 190 and 220. Mr. Young brings a reckless abandonment that covers any technical skill in tackling he may currently lack. He will learn that technical skill while he redshirts.
Oh and FWIW, technique will almost always win, unless the will is stronger. Good luck with your year and try not to take shots at people who are rated as a top player in the state, it comes off as petty and trite.
How often does a safety take out a linemen. He did what he suppose to do and that is crack the WR or RB in his way. Come on bra, you got to be smarter than that.
Jeff was Not good. U gotta look a your states football tradition period. Your most successful backs are usually the biggest ones. To me it hints that your states tackling is poor. In Washington football teams let size intimidate.Jeff Gouvea Im guessing was an OK back. but wheres he at now? He has NO OFFERS FROM ANYONE! Not UW WSU NOBODYD!
This guy's got the swagger and attitude of a real dawg. Willingham tried so hard to destroy it, but thank God he failed and that type of raw aggression and swagger is on its way back into our program. I can't wait to see him in purple and to see what Holt does with him. GO DAWGS
This guy needs to be a Husky. This is the sort of hitter that our historic defenses have been built around. He could be something special under Coach Holt.
SPSL watchout this guy is gonna crack your ass ........if your ready ....or ....if you aren't....dont matter!.......Chris Young class of 2010!!!!!! Yall aint readdy....
