  • Are their claws razor blade sharp yet?

  • It's pronounced Jaguar not Jagwire :c

  • @CetaGrid Pronunciation is dependent upon region. I don't know anyone in the US that pronounces "jaguar" the way the brits do, including me. I'm not about to run about saying "jag-you-are". Everyone would think I was daft.

  • @AtheistinFundyLand I don't mean to say "Jag-you-are" I mean "Jag-war." For some reason, I hear a lot of people say Jagwire, and it's just a bit of a pet peeve I suppose.

  • @vivalaT911: these are indeed jaguars; there are black jaguars too!

  • leopard..... the black ones are jaguars

  • that's very cute :) You must be more bold than I am, as I could not play with something that could potentially eat me. lol xD

  • what else did they have in that zoo that you could pet like that?

  • Cute! Just wish they stayed that small.

  • Or a human. Might as well just eat human. They're certainly more readily available.

  • you obviously see what people eat,,you die of poisoning ,,were inedible

  • yes indeed, they are...but diseases and religious people will whip out their books

  • Atleast be smart enough to say only when your starving and near deaths door. Not just because your starving thanks to retards like you they are dieing out and they aren't even worth the meal of eating they keep balance.

  • you only eat predator animals if the stock animals are to depleted,,lions and bear and other meat eaters are hard on the belly guts,,besides for the yield of protein from turkeys and chickens,,for literally the chicken feed you give them ,its wiser to eat the bird watch ,andrew zimmern shows here on you tube

    theres some strange cultural delicacys

  • i see. both of you guys gave great responses to my post!

  • I would much rather see u being skinned and eaten then any tiger or big cat....

  • you could also say...you can eat your own mother, father and possibly the whole world. idiot.

  • Where can you get a jaguar and can you buy them>?

  • You can buy them, but that would be extremely cruel to the animal. They are extremely dangerous animals when they get older. And` once they grow up you can't donate them to a zoo because they've been domesticated and won't be able to fit in with other Jaguar. There are tons of people trying to get a law passed to make owning an exotic cat illegal. Right now you can buy them, but it just wouldn't be right for the animal or you.

  • You know what else is cruel? Killing poor, harmless vegetables and fruit and eating them alive. So, so cruel. Terrible. Salads are genocide, you know!

Everything is cruel. Life -- to just be alive -- is cruelty. We have to embrace that we, all animals, the entire ecosystem, is cruel. Cruelty is unavoidable.

  • I was just commenting that it would be cruel to purchase one and keep it as a pet, you know, like a dog or house cat. They grow up and are extremely dangerous and sometimes zoos won't take them from the owners because these exotic cats have been domesticated and can't get along with others. I really don't understand why you were talking about lettuce and fruit. I was just informing the other person above how dangerous it is to actually own one of these animals. I wasn't trying to rude.

  • Well, I was being a little too sardonic, I think.

I am not sure why being "dangerous" is a reason not to have something. Cars, recreational drugs (like caffeine), and, of course, the most dangerous of all the animals extant: homo sapien sapiens. Maybe we should stop having those, too. I am merely pointing to your logical inconsistency. Things FAR more dangerous than undomesticated animals (true domestication takes hundreds of years, btw) are tolerated, even encouraged. Like public driving.

  • "Defend me other jaguar!"

    Very cool.

  • Despite the fact that they're basically kittens, being bigger than adult house cats, it looked like they were deliberately playing gently with you. Very well-behaved little cats not to go all out, certainly my domestic kitten wouldn't hold anything back (though of course in that case it didn't matter) when she played, I wonder what sort of training they got, or are they just smart enough to know to be gentle on their own?

  • Wow, that's so cute! How does this work, you just go into the zoo and they let you play with the animals? Or do you work there?

  • I work for an international zoo database called ISIS. I was there training staff from 5 Thai zoos on using our software, and they treated me like an honored guest! It was totally great.

  • Can I buy one???

  • The bottle it's way funner than my shoe.
