I've been waiting to see how you remove your tart/pie/cake/.... from the pan/flan dish/..., cause that's a tricky part, at least for me, but you always have the picture of the dessert ready in the plate

@lindashila Just cut a slice with a knife then use a cake slice to carefully slide a piece out from the centre. If the first slice breaks a bit it's not a problem - the first is the hardest and the rest are easy.

@Smallpotato1965 The problem is that I'm not entirely sure of the varieties of the apples in my garden. I could have said "you can use this crispy apple here, or Granny Smith". Then people would have asked what the variety of apple was that I used. A no-win situation :-)
