This makes me want to cook! I am definetely taking your recipes to cook something for my boyfriend's birthday! From the appetizers to the dessert! Thanks for sharing your recipes and tips.
Pfff - brilliant! Your cooking is so full of joi de vivre - I'm always smiling as I watch! Not quite sure how that's going to come across in a calendar - but I'm sure you'll bring it off with flair. BTW - excuse my ignorance, but what's the word you say at the end of each video?
I run and rerun your beginning apple comments, french style, very funny. Your features take-on a whole different character. Hey, I thought you said the apples were from your garden ?
I've been waiting to see how you remove your tart/pie/cake/.... from the pan/flan dish/..., cause that's a tricky part, at least for me, but you always have the picture of the dessert ready in the plate
@lindashila Just cut a slice with a knife then use a cake slice to carefully slide a piece out from the centre. If the first slice breaks a bit it's not a problem - the first is the hardest and the rest are easy.
How about THEM apples? My, you have a busy kitchen. I could use a tart in my life. Soggy bottom sounds like it needs a little attention. An apple tart is much better for a dinner party, because it has no top on.
Hello, Titli! Apples could be expensive in my country, but we got lots of mangoes (since I live in a tropical place). I was wondering if mangoes could be used instead of apples and if it is ok, how do I make the filling with the mangoes?
@Smallpotato1965 The problem is that I'm not entirely sure of the varieties of the apples in my garden. I could have said "you can use this crispy apple here, or Granny Smith". Then people would have asked what the variety of apple was that I used. A no-win situation :-)
@TitliNihaan A few years ago, somebody in England discovered they had a new variety of apple tree in their backyard that nobody knew existed before. If you're not sure what you have, ask an expert.
is this the same as flan noramande or is it different?
Gamer1Guys 4 weeks ago
@Gamer1Guys I believe that Tarte Normande usually has egg custard in it too.
