Ugh, I hate voice overs - what's wrong with subtitles? Even if the voice over is a translation for english speaking people... i like to hear the interviewees voice as well as understand what they're saying.

That's the tradition in Russia : using subtitles is just not a common thing to do . Besides that , there's plenty of PSB-related TV-shows/interviews in English to choose from , so I see no problems in a few videos in Russian :-) This TV show was aired on a Russian TV , for Russian-speaking people , so why should they make it suitable for English-speakers ?

@NaturalHeaven Fair enough, but I didn't say I think Russian tv should make it's programmes so english people understand, I just personally prefer to hear an interviewees own voice when they're speaking - same applies for foreign speakers on british tv, and films - some dubbing on foreign films is terrible.

Врет, однозначно :) Я в это вообще поверить не могу! Человек, так любящий Россию, как он говорит, и не слышал гимна. Олимпиады почаще надо было смотреть!

@JammerJammer2009 так ведь у петов же своя версия, со своим вступлением, которое как раз и похоже на гимн. У вилладж пипл этого ведь точно нет.

@Barbuzuka ну ведь это тоже гимн, только гомосексуальный :) а чисто музыкально гимны все одинаково начинаются в основном - с первой на четвертую или пятую ступень... необязательно врёт в общем, что не слышал, а может слышал, но он имел в виду не советский, а Глинки там или просто ошибся в общем.
