No. I agree mostly, but the best years of music were the sixties seventies and early eighties, with the exception of great country artists in the nineties and Nirvana.

Best time for music: from late 60's to 1980.

After that, the 80's were very divided. There was a LOT of GREAT stuff (which is much better by far than the best stuff that comes out nowadays), but also a lot of useless crap. That's when the divide started growing too large, when music started to become segregated... Before the 80's it was all one love: rock n' roll! :)

Man, this takes me way back. Back in the days of the satin scarves and the silken camel toes of yesteryear. Alexs hair was straight but he didn't look it. Neils mustache looked like the guys from the Monopoly game, and Geddy looked a little like my best friends ugly sister. Dressed like her too. But man, these three could lay down the badness like no other.

I was 8 when I heard 2112 and wore it out. Took 2 years before I flipped it over and discovered the B side. Woah.

Guys, the verse appears to be- all open: A Maj, D Maj, G Maj. Then the two high ones are the top three notes of an E shape chord (or F as a bar chord) first at the 7th fret and then at the fifth fret. At :33 he just alternates from the G to the D (Just like "Lakeside Park" which is just D D , G G - followed by a single note arpeggiated line where you pick the 5th, 4th (open), 3rd (open) strings in succession. The first time fret the 5th at the 3rd fret, moving down a fret each time through).
