Wait, so Beryl is just effects that can go over gnome? I thought these effectish things were only associated with and a part of KDE. And where does XGL come in? Does having Gnome and KDE have nothing to do with these effects? Are the blur shaders I saw being used to reproduce the Vista thing associated with KDE or Beryl?
Glad you still appreciate my video post... yup my PC is a little bit outdated... I'm just using a P4 2.4 ghz with 512ram and an old Nvidia with 64mb of ram only... but still my PC managed to record and do beryl... but the effects are really smooth without the screen capture app running.
