I will do both next time I am at my kite fishing shop.
It might be a few weeks away. I have a crimping article online on my website. Visit my channel to find the link to my site because youtube doesn't allow link posting
Wire is always a good precaution when catching toothy denizens. However wire is a deterrent to some of the more skittish species of fish like snapper and bream.
@netstepb you can use a little bigger flouro. but on my king fish rigs i use 6 inches of wire only like 46lb or what ever it is and then about 4 to 5 feet of 50lb mono
can this Dacron replace flouro?

do you have any video showing knot tying with wire or correct ways to crimp??
I enjoy your videos, tasteful and without all the loud music. Good job!!

I was wondering if it made sense to tie knots with wire?? What do you think??
We have a lot of toothie critters here in the gulf and I often lose a king or spanish to flocarbon.
