To be honest he looks a little over weight for a great dane. At 43 inches he is huge my female fawn was big for a female back in the 70's she was 35 1/2 inches & weighed 153 lbs. She was bigger then most male fawns. Your blacks & Harlequins are your biggest danes smallest are the brindles.

@localibran no they dont unfortunately... they have extremely short life spans.. i believe the average is 8 years.. of course there are some who do live longer but the average is 8.

@mdksmith09 That's really unfortunate for them, as sweet and characteristic as they appear to be. That's honestly why I never had one myself, mess around & get too attached to it & before you know it they're gone. True it's the same with many breeds but it seems especially with the larger ones.

George is big, but to lie and cheat the system to beat out Titan all in the name of making money.

110 lbs of food a month is equivalent to approx 20 cups of food a day. The largest great danes I have known, which were over 200 lbs, ate at the most 12 cups a day, and as they got older, it went down to 8 cups a day.
