I like that you can make a human from scratch with blender. But I also like this program because you can use it to speed up your work. I don't always have time to create a human from scratch, so this does the work for me. Then once I import it into blender, I can then "Fine Tune" it from there and get the job done quicker. Good video man.

I just downloaded blender and for some reason I can't do anything I cannot use any of the number keys as shortcuts like to turn off perspective mode somebody said to hit 1&5, nothing happens, to go to something they said hit E, well when i did it distorted my picture to have a 3D line going thru it then when i got it to work, i couldnt make it do what he was doing, help

@FacerollCinema they mean to use the number pad (must have num lock on) And if you mess something up, you can always hit ctrl+z like in microsoft office

FYI he's using an older version: MakeHuman 0.9.1 RC1 (I think).

Weirdly, the current version (1.0 alpha 6) doesn't let you pose the figure like he does at 2:20. I wasted some time figuring that out....

Ok I downloaded Blender and Makehuman and I can't figure out exactly how to import Makehuman to Blender. I'm trying to make really cool animations but, I just can't figure out how to use these software's. There no tutorial that I have found that actually helps me. few questions: have you made other clips regarding animation with human models? does makehuman have hair effects where you can make realistic hair as opposed to just painted on textures to make it look like hair?
