@ddsharper Most "Cops" already understand the dynamics of what is going on. I prefer to call them Enforcement Officials. They are not going to STOP, until EFFECTIVE NUMBERS OF people classified as "non-white" understand the dynamics of what Racism is, what it is not, and how it works. Until "non-white" people learn that, collectively we will remain confused. We must take actions to get the STATUS QUO (the leaders of the "cops") to STOP. I do however believe similarly to how Marcus Garvey believed about the black race, that there needs to be racial pride to have true diversity. Not just black racial pride, but white racial pride, yellow racial pride, whatever. Diversity can't exist with just one race being strong in their heritage. For true diversity to exist strength must exist on all levels.
Yeah, at one time I agreed with Marcus Garvey. He only wanted to counter-racism, but, merely used what was at his disposal to attempt to end it. Taking pride in your skin color is no different than taking pride in your hair or eye color. "Race" is a social construct. If Garvey had known what is known today about "race", I suspect that his approach would have been different. But, he saw the things that the Racists used to make "white" people APPEAR to be great, and wanted those same things.

A good book for you to read is Life and Lessons, its a biography of Garvey... I think its edited by Robert A. Hill... Garvey made several attempts to go to Africa but at the time Africa was under colonial European domination...He denied entry into several African countires out of the fear by these governments...

I do however believe similarly to how Marcus Garvey believed about the black race, that there needs to be racial pride to have true diversity. Not just black racial pride, but white racial pride, yellow racial pride, whatever. Diversity can't exist with just one race being strong in their heritage. For true diversity to exist strength must exist on all levels.

Yeah, at one time I agreed with Marcus Garvey. He only wanted to counter-racism, but, merely used what was at his disposal to attempt to end it. Taking pride in your skin color is no different than taking pride in your hair or eye color. "Race" is a social construct. If Garvey had known what is known today about "race", I suspect that his approach would have been different. But, he saw the things that the Racists used to make "white" people APPEAR to be great, and wanted those same things.

Its interesting that you mentioned that becuase in America they made laws suggesting that if you had a percentage of black blood inside you, you were considered Negro... look up the 3/4 rule under slavery or jim crow laws you should find alot of information on Negroes who tried to "pass" becuase of there lighted skin complexion but were denied that status of "whitehood" becuase they were of negro ancestry.

A good book for you to read is Life and Lessons, its a biography of Garvey... I think its edited by Robert A. Hill... Garvey made several attempts to go to Africa but at the time Africa was under colonial European domination...He denied entry into several African countires out of the fear by these governments...

The only way that this story could be claimed as fact would be IF you or I saw it with our own eyes or that a CREDIBLE WITNESS or PHOTO showed us that it was true. The fact that DuBois went to Harvard, didn't mean he was the first to uplift Africans.
Garvey was inspired by his family to study about Africa and DuBois, well he wasn't happy if my memory serve me right with the American Government.
