@jenneferrocks Erm her first language is Mandarin, she was born in Cheng Du, China. :) And she migrated to US when she was 15, so her second language is English. And Cantonese is the third language she picked up. :)

I wonder if you really watch the whole video and listen carefully for every single words Fala said in the interview. Please watch 04:35 and 06:17 and listen carefully. At 04:35 she says she speaks Mandarin when she was participating pagaent. At 06:13 the interviewer asked her what was her weak points at work, she answered at first it was the language barrier,as she doesn't speak cantonese AT ALL.

It's okay for you to admit that you have limited or insufficient knowledge on a particular subject, so please read up and make sure the information and facts you are providing are correct, before you express your opinion. If you have watched it but still not convinced by what Fala speaks for herself in the video, I have nothing to say. Hopefully you can provide me the videos that to convince me that her first language is Cantonese, or you can try to explain to me the logic that how Cantonese could be her first language before she know how to speak it. LOL.

Is she an ABC? But she speaks fluent English. She spoke Cantonese with strong accent. I noticed her about five years ago when she started to show up in some tvb series and hosting shows. She came from NY. She is already married with one of the bosses of the NewWay Star or something entertainment company. Celebrities don't announce when/where they get marry these days.

She is one of the top actresses in tvb today regardless of her marriage. She is very ambitious.

she isn't a native speaker of English, she went to U.S. when she was 15, and went to Hongkong when she was 23. Based on that information, I think she speaks english like that was very well (of course have an accent). Another thing, Linda was born and raised in Cannada, she moved to Hongkong when she was 20, of course, she was a native speaker. Compare learning english since just born from Linda, and from Fala since she was 15. IT'S NOT FAIR!!!!!! Can you compare it?

She has an accent when she speaks English. It doesn't matter if she has chance to speak English or not... If you're just so fluent you won't have an accent. Linda speaks Cantonese everyday now, but she's got no accent when she speaks English. Fala freaking acts like she's from the US when she's from China. Please speak with no accent if she wants ppl to think she's a native speaker of English. Really wouldn't mind her accent if she didn't try too hard to create an ABC image

Linda was born and raised in Canada but moved to HK when she was 20. Linda is a native speaker of English, of course she doesn't have an accent when speaking English. I don’t think it’s appropriate to compare their accent when speaking English since Linda speaking English since birth whereas Fala’s starts picking up English at the age of 15. =)

@wanilovechocolate If you were to compare thier accent, I personally think that Linda has stronger accent when speaking Cantonese compared to Fala. Linda moved to HK when she's 20 (2004) while Fala moved to HK when she's 23 (2006). Despite being younger & came to HK 2 years earlier than Fala, Linda still speak Cantonese with a stronger accent compared to Fala...

i think her english is very good... theres like a slite accent, but it doesnt exactly sound chinese.. . her english is fluent. her cantonese has an accent, but shes such a good actress and is very pretty.... her character in no regrets, ching ching was AMAZING. her performance was soooo good and she won best supporting actress twice. once in her first year of acting and one this year. the funny thing is that she never won most improved. instead that year, she won best supporting

so in summary: I hope she could speak fluent Mandarin since she spoke Mandarin to start with (but I've never heard her speak Mandarin so can't tell); she's still working on her Cantonese, and her English is so-so.
