  • beyond time

  • too bad there's only a "like" button - a :love" button would get as many if not more hits

  • That passport type photo of John makes him look like K.D Lang. lol

  • I heard this song on the radio today.... Some people still know what real music is....

  • It's so beautifull, so spiritual ,philosophical and calming. Long live to Paul and the rest of the Beatles.

  • still...one of the greatest songs ever written!

  • hanamoon

  • I love metal songs..... But this is my favorite song ever... RIP George and John..... Beatles For Ever....

  • @oldinfant23 I agree this is sublime and trancends what ever music you like it is beautiful. :)

  • A true goodbye song...

  • They lasted for a short time but will truly endure forever.

  • This is absolutely beautiful.....a little sad but that can be okay.

  • cosa dire la piu bella grazie beatles

  • I and my brother are liked it, especcialy it

  • This song brings me very close to tears

  • The legends of pop music the like of which are unlikely to be seen again.

  • So AGREE the Beatles - best ever - thanx for sending me this Bunky, love Jo x :-)

Think They would have been so much better of without Yoko!!

  • Beatles. The greatest ever. They are without the best modern composers. Lennon and McCartney are on an equal with Beethoven Mozart Elgar. That japanese whore ono ruined them. bitch

  • One of my favorite songs of the Beatles. That and a Day in the Life!

  • it is the real one--the naked version is the remixed version, the way it was recorded "originally." this was overdubbed with orchestra and stuff during the4 beatles' career, the naked version was mixed in 2001 or '00 i think... but i personally like this version better. nothin' wrong with the naked version though. its good

  • A nostalgic look at the Beatles in their heyday! I LOVE "The Long and Winding Road" especially since I heard it sung by David Archuleta on American Idol. He noted that it was the last #1 hit for the Beatles. I'm glad it made it to #1..it's memorable! Nice pics' of the Beatles! Thanks for posting!

  • 5*****

  • simply beautiful once again

  • this is a great Beatles melody which should be honoured for

i play guitar and this song has enspired me to continue with the Beatles

im a Buddy Holly fan which the Beatles were influenced by!!!

    Rave On!!!

    RIP Buddy, John & George

  • Thankyou sailor for sharing. Great song! 5***** Loved the pictures to! Blessings....Diane.

  • The best one out there

  • this song always makes me cry

  • Hey u must be young, just imagine I'm 48 what it makes to me.

  • well 27, not really that young but I was introduced very late. My friend sent me everything by the Beatles while I was in Iraq in 2003, and I can't imagine how I had grown up all that time without these sounds. I imagine anyone growing up during the 60's must have many associations with this music. I am envious of that time but perhaps I am also fortunate that I didn't experience the pains and upheaval as well. What are your associations or memories of that time?

  • Honey Franzo, I sent you a long response but it never showed up here. I don't know what happened,,,

  • sorry my reply is on top instead of as a reply.

  • What about me then? I'm in my 50s!

    Annie :D

  • Annie, I'm so glad for your response, but didn't you just forget that we elderly women don't count in this society...

  • Hey, musifUFT, maybe you are right and some people class as as being "over-the-hill" and useless but although I'm 50+ I act a lot younger............and I still have my zany, weird, wacky, offbeat and sometimes naughty, sense of humour! Age, they say, is only a number and I don't think of myself as being elderly!!

    Annie :)

  • I'm the same, that's the right spirit. Maybe one day we could meet. I live in Venezuela.

  • Hey good news on RAI Italian TV they just released a sort of survey that out of every women in her 50's one out of two has a lover. How about that ? my husband was chockd.jaja

  • @musicUFT Of course you count - and moreso because you have paid your dues. With age comes beauty, wisdom and inner strength. Here's to all the middle aged and elderly women who are proud of the wrinkles they earned :)

  • a great song no one. no one else can do its justice.

  • I agree. It's the best of THE BEATLES!!

  • @thirdandtwo57 This is a beautiful song...a little sad but very thought provoking.

  • I agree about the orchestra addition. It fills the song. It does not take away from Paul's voice. I think it shows it off even more. Great song, one of THE bands best.

  • to say the least..this is by far; in my opinion the best version off this classic song

  • This is the ONLY version of this classic song!

  • Great pics and a great song

  • speechless, true heroes of the human race.

  • @FoxFan100 It's funny, but no one will ever forget them, Ever.

  • Very nice tribute! :-)

  • My favourite version of all time! Thanks.

  • Really great video

    HelterSkelter909

This is my favourite version of the song

  • I also prefer this version. I think it's because it has some majestuosity that makes that only an orchestra can fullfill at its plentity.

  • What a thrill, following them as the matured and evolved...to this...A Masterpiece. Thanks so much.

  • It is funny that someone can come along and add background strings and choir and change the whole song. I think it was for the better. Paul says is wasn't. Who knows. It's still a great song.

  • i prefer this version. Why on youtube, which i love and think should charge money, do you have to search out the songthat was top ten? It should come up first on the listings. THanks for posting.

  • I've always found it interesting that most people like the Phil Spector version best (including me). Paul hated it so much that he cited it as one of the reasons for 'formally' disolving the Beatles in court. He just wanted it stripped down with his piano and John playing (horribly) on bass.

  • Their best. What a time to be living. Thank you.

  • thank you for the proer Phil spector version it is special to me

  • romantic, nostalgic, one of the best!

  • maybe their best song - i really liked the old photos - even with pete best.

  • @phishfearme2 I agree about it being up there as their greatest song...it's absolutely beautiful.

  • Brilliant.

    Absolute legends.
