  • Get that boot agent out of your boot order!

  • my (other) pc has it but cant move cant type cant press ctrl+alt+delete cant do anything i can just shut it down ...

    ='(

  • OK thats happens to mine when i plug in my laptop to my hp monitor right, but then the monitor just turns off like in 5 seconds. plz help

  • u don't have windows , buy an windows or download cracked

  • Idk what to do my computer screen goes blank and my computer still works just my screen goes blank do you recon it's the graphics card it only does it when i'm playing a video game like minecraft

  • Ii have had that problem too.I had it from having a extternal HDD in my desktop and takeing it out after wards..Idk if thats wat happened to you. but wat you do is when you turn your desktop on press ESC= Boot Menu and choose your HDD to boot from. That should make your computer boot into your Windows. Its always worked for me everytime

  • @Aaron1998ish please help me with that

  • I have a 2.7 GHz Duo Core 2 Nvidia GeForce 8800GTX and when i power the computer on the screen stays black with the yellow idle light not turning blue, any solution?

  • As 7delic said just insert windows installation disk restart pc it shoud take you to a menu (use arrow keys to move around) and reinstall windows.

  • hey does it still work

if not i cann help ya

  • ITS ALL ABOUT APPLE MAC'S ! lol

  • Your computer sound like a helicopter loll JK

  • blinking cursor = unplug your usb devices

  • I have the same pc and the same problem, what do i do ?

  • @drdonwonderful check you motherboard and bios.try out with a new hard drive,if the problem continues then you should probably clean your motherboard and check for any overheating.

  • i have the same problem. but instead of that, the screen doesnt show anything. NOTHING at all. anyone know how to fix without taking to store?

  • @JeffHardyRules2580

hey i can help ya if you want?

  • yes..always happpens at boot up now.....tried to use Dx tool via F9 was the last time it almost worked..got hung up at ram memory check stopped (got hung up at 40% and stayed there) ..hence I'll change the new 2 g ram i put in last week..and finally the recovery screen at one time said cant find the OS..i restarted and it did but then foolishly i tried the Hp diagnosis and shut down the computer after the ram hang up and now its all blue withthe hp lpoigo and four buttons, boot, recovery & 2

  • yo Diesel..funny also my nickname..is there any way to contact or call you..Im in LA..will try and change ram today try F1 and get back..thanks so much

  • I had the same problem it's Hard disk error or Virus. I had Hard Disk error.

  • I just built A,new desktop and I tried to install windows 7 I ran, the CD installer and now the screen I'd just black i'm on my phone, t tong to fix it no luck I will keep trying

  • It's probably a Conflict with your Driver softwares,Most probably caused through virus.

  • @DieselGTX

screen is blue with HP name ..cant open with F11, f10 or other..any suggestion s

  • @drdonwonderful Does this freezing error happen always at the boot screen?pressing F1 leads to where? You mean the bios setup??.Swap out a spare hard drive (With an O/S) and see whether this problem continues,If it does not, plug in your hard drive along with the spare one,The PC will boot using the Spare one,Copy all your personal data to the spare Hard disk and format your original one.If this problem continues even with the spare hard drive, then check you motherboard for any defects.

  • Follow these steps it could help you out,I've tried these and my PC worked fine.

Restart your PC,enter your windows Boot CD and try to Run CHKDSK,It'll clean your HDD from bad sectors and clean your O/S.If it does not work,Repair your O/S using boot CD.If the problem starts to occur again after sometimes,Format your PC and install a fresh O/S copy.If still this continues, check your hard disk for any errors like overheating and make sure your hard ware is in good condition,Especially RAM and CPU

  • @CuzImaRaiderXRaidX ur lcd CCFL BACKLIGHT LAMP or inverter are bad check them

  • @CuzImaRaiderXRaidX That is maybe Hard Disk error. Do you have big computer or laptop? I think It's hard Disk but if it's not hard disk it's explorer.exe or windows error. Make you sure your hard disk is not broken. But I think it's windows error re-install windows or recovery. It helps.

  • @Adrunk you want to highlight you first boot device and change it to hard drive, second to optical drive ( DVD-RW Drive), third would be USB devices. Disable the network boot and you should not get that screen again and your computer should boot into windows. If it doesn't boot into windows chances are that you have a defective video card. I hope this helps

  • @Adrunk if you hit F1 you should get into your setup once there you should look on the top of your screen and it should say BOOT OPTIONS or something to that nature. Once there refer to the hints either at the bottom of the page or to the side of the page. You would want to use your tab or arrow key depending on your computer to change your boot order. It looks like your computer is set to boot from a network which is not unusual if it were being repaired or used as a client on a network.

  • woaw same cpu xD

  • If you are able to get into the BIOS you should be able to change the boot order. Change the boot device to HDD instead of CD-ROM. If you run into the same problem unplug your CD-RW and DVD ROM then see if it boots. Usually when a system goes to a black screen with a flashing cursor it means that it is trying to find a boot device prior to the HDD. If an CD-RW and DVD ROM are defective then that is the outcome. Hope this helps.

  • @jtcomp1 My screen goes black but my cursor doesn't blink. Same problem still?

  • My Sony Vaio model: VPCF121GX could not access system recovery. Rebooting or restarting the laptop will make it end up having a black screen with a flashing white underscore. I tried removing the battery and rebooting and it still makes the screen appear black. Alt+Ctrl+Del reboots and goes back to the screen, task manager won't appear. Some people suggest F1-F10, which pops up Vaio Care (or the assist button works too). I don't have any installation discs. Any tips or advice to get it working?

  • Hey guys, I hope anybody can help me with this. My PC died 2 weeks ago and wouldn't turn on again, a new power supply fixed it, but the mainboard didn't give a signal and the monitor didn't have any signal. I've tried replacing the power supply, mainboard + ram, cpu, monitor cables and graphics card. No change at all. The rest that I didn't replace was the CPU fan(which spins normally), the audio card, the CD drive and the HDD What's the problem though when everything else is replaced correctly?

  • i had dat problem

try to unplug the hard drive and boot it up

if it responds it could be ur hdd

  • I have that same problem.

  • Do Not Listen ToAnyone Who Comments, Easy Fix, But Hard To Explain... The problem is that in regedit.exe the path has been changed from explorer.exe to something else. remove all the PCI devices.rstart your pc.If Windws start successfully, shut down your pc, n then reinstall the PCI devices 1 at a time. Start Windows after the installation of each device. When u install device tht causes the issue, remove that device, and then continue to install the other PCI devices. If Windows does not start successfully, remove 1 or more of the mmory modules that are installed in your pc. leave sufficient RAM for your computer to start.

  • hey did you ever fix the problem

  • what to do if i have the same problem but broke the windows installing cd by actident

    mine has the same problem

  • Yo! I think your windows files were crashed. That's why your computer didn't even have the windows loading appear.

  • hey my screen is almost completly black so im guessing i change the lighting somehow I can see only a little bit of the light can anyone tell me the command for the brightness?

  • Your hard drive is not configure that why its not reading the data in the hard drive. Try to disconnect you hard drive then insert your operation system cd let it run. Once it start installing the data then connect the hard drive and you will be able to format your hard drive to a new one.

  • @mzsexyluss I agree. It is a software problem with Windows. It happens sometimes and the original CD has to be used to repair the problem.

  • @mzsexyluss thak you it worked 4me you rock i been racking my brain 4weeks trying fix n now i did this it work

  • Ok, this problem, your computer cannot find the hard disks, either they have not been connected correctly or it has not been configured at setup. So, the boot agent is coming for a reason....

  • I'm having the same problem only its a dell desktop =( help

  • Here's the solution.... beat the computer relentlessly with a heavy object until broken. Curse gods name repeatedly. Collapse into fetal position and sob like a baby girl.

  • blackscreen virus

  • hey guys want to know a cool youtube secret?

step 1: click play on the video and click and hold on the screen (make sure you dont pause it)

step 2: keep on holdin the click button on the screen and hold every arrow key for at least 3 seconds.

step 3: make sure you have a arrow key held at all times

step 4: see what you get..

  • For me when I turn on my computer, at the startup the screen is all black with nothing

!!! I am starting to stress out ! I think it has something to do with my video graphics card...

  • @GODLOVEEESYOU I think it is the problem. If it was a hard drive you would get a comment that it can't find a source drive. If the software was the problem the computer would boot up and not load windows which would give you a black screen.

  • @semco72057 omg thx mate u safed my computer :)
