@3choBlast3r the issue of Kurds is by no means tied to the issue of the PKK. the PKK are only an organization trying to make the most of the opportunity. before the PKK there were other organizations who were fighting for Kurdish rights and there will be others after them. no matter how bad the PKk is, Turkey is always worse. its only the actions of Turks that create the haven for violence and unrest. Turkey seems to think it can destroy a community of some 40 million people.

Turks did not conquer anything. they simply migrated to anatolia and integrated themselves with the people. eventually overthrowing the byzantine government. the Temurid dynasty totally wiped Turkish authorities out. but from egypt, a state created by a Kurdish man, Turks managed to regain control of anatolia through Islam. Persians also took over an empire created by Kurds.

@3choBlast3r the seljuks migrated to anatolia escaping from mongol invasions. the mongols under gengis khan did not go as far west as modern day Iran and anatolia. thats where the seljuks established their foothold. after the death of gengis khan, teimur, another mongol, rose to power and launched the conquest of middle east from modern day Iran. the seljuk Turks along with Kurds were fighting off christians when the temurid mongols invaded and wiped the seljuks out.
