@olflatop Sure I'll see what I can do. Sometimes I mention the notes, sometimes fret numbers, and I usually hear from the other camp when I do (see further down the thread) :-)
it was helpful but hard to follow cause u went a bit too fast and used note names some times when most people no nothing of how to read music but thanks for the lesson
@SlapBassOdyssey Thanks...yes, it could be played like that. I usually try to listen to a song, and then transcribe it, so there could be a few mistakes here and there. I'll try playing it that way myself, and see how it sounds ;-)
@MrJoshua182 Yeah, but don't worry you were only 2 notes off it's not really that big of a difference, and I just get that echo from playing with the recording on the 11th and not so much on the 9th. I might not be right.
The active pickups help, but it needs 200+ watts in a small club to be heard.
The acoustic is a real mutt of a guitar. It's a curly swamp ash top, with a moulded plastic back. Very bright, but not very good overall. I found it on CL for $50.
awesome lesson man.

It would be SO much easier if you could use note names instead of fret numbers. Pretty please?

@1979TheBand I wish !...I sold my 1977 a few years ago, so that one's an Epi traditional plus top. Not too bad, but not a gibby.

Very nice! Although during the part of the chorus where it's 9 on the g then 9 on the d, I think it sounds better going 9-g, 11-d.
It might just be me because I can usually barely hear that note.
