  • @nutmega009 Alicia Keys - Jane Doe

  • What is your hair tyupe becuz my hair is d same texture.

  • Thanks so much for doing this video... I'm transitioning (3 months post relaxer).... I'm struggling. This video has helped alot ...thanks. What products did youuse in your hair?

  • looked great!

  • I had made the decision to go from relaxed to natural and I was looking for some styles to try out. And this one was very helpful thank you so much! I have tried the protective styles such as twisting but it didnt really work for me since only have about an inch of new growth while the rest of my hair is still relaxed. I even tried plaits instead twists which worked better but still not very great. Again, thanks so much for this video.

  • wer u gon girl??????

  • this is nice!

  • Wer hav you gon???

  • what did you put on your hair before you put the flexi rods in?

  • Very nice

  • i am 3 months into transition, what is the best way to maintain my hair?

  • I am transitioning and I hear flexi rods are a great transitioning style, thanks for the video showing this. plz update us on your hair.

  • lol im jealouz uf ur new growth

  • her hair is naturally beautiful. but thankk you for making this video. your hair came out great.

  • @prissy232 Thank you =)

  • The video looked great! I was wondering do you think this will work with thin relaxed hair?

  • @deedee7320 Yes girl! I definitely think it will work on relaxed hair...no matter thinning or thick! And remember there are different size flexi rods..so pick the best one u feel that suits your hair or the look you want. Try it and let me know how it turns out!

  • @0HerLoveliness0 Thanks! I will be doing it tomorrow..wish me luck!

  • @0HerLoveliness0 can u still do the flexirod set even if you don't have a hooded-dryer or no?

  • @Shadowmist4 Yes you can! It probably would dry a much faster w/ a hooded dryer, but you can let it air dry. U might be able to notice a slight difference between an air dry vs. hooded dryer, but the curls will still be there!

  • This was so helpful for me =]....I'm almost six months into the transition & I don't want to do the big chop, so this was very helpful. I've been looking for other things to do to it, thanks so much for posting this info!!!!!

  • @avapriceless1 I'm glad you found it helpful!

  • i love it. very pretty. I wish I could pull that off.

  • @greenizDAnublaque You can! That was my first time using those rods..try it!

  • loved this video, i just started transitioning and was looking for a style. i will def be trying this! :)

  • @caressefl Did you try the style? If so, how'd it come out?

  • How long did it take for that new growth to come in?

  • @vivianof011 I no...I want mine to be like that but i seriously want to no holw long am i gonna wait for it to be like that :(

  • @Electrikgirl2 Everyone's hair grows differently..just give it time, im sure it will flourish and be beautiful!

  • I love this styel, your hair is beautiful!! I have thick hair as well, where did you get your flexirods from? I'v been trying to get some but can't find a lot for a good price...hope you or someone can help!

  • This style is beautiful. Keep posting. Huggs

  • how long have you been transitioning..i started my journey nov 09 and I too plan not to do the big chop..i have really long hair (half way done my back) and I find it hard to do the bc...currently, i have large cornrows...i plan to do the twist out and flexirod too..

  • how long did your hair stay like this before the curls got messy...it's really nice btw :)

  • this video makes me happy to see..how long have you been transitioning? just curious..i got my last relaxer in august...Ive been doing braid outs and roller sets....and right now...got extensions in..protective style to give my hair a break...i wanna try a rod set tho!!!!! Ive been wantin too..was thinkin i had to go somewhere to have someone do it..but rite now i prolly do..im in spain..n they dont have too many black hair care products other than weave and relaxers! from wat ive seen... hmmm

  • such a cute hairstyle

  • what is your hair type?

  • Just beautiful!

  • Thank u! ;o)

  • How long have you been transitioning for?

  • Very pretty!

  • Thank u!

  • I like your vid, very motivating. What products did you use to achieve this look. and what products did you use during your transition?

  • Glad u like it! With this I just used water and Blended Beauty - Straightening glaze. But you can actually use any setting lotion and it will work the same. Still transitioning, I've tried diff products, most of the time I use an all natural shampoo & conditioner (i switch it up) garnier fructis for a leave in conditioner and Organics Olive Oil hair polish for shine.

  • that is so cute! so glad we have more ladies transitioning and going natural. such a beautiful thing!

  • I have a question... i bought the cantu shea butter leave-in conditioner cream and it has little white specks in it does urs have that

  • I use Garnier Fructis leave in conditioner and no..no specks. I did try the cantu one time, haven't tried it since..but I plan on trying it again.

  • SOOO CUTE

  • Thank you!

  • Your hair is beautiful, how long had you been without a relaxer at this point?

  • Thank you and I think it was just about a year in this vid.

  • ok im transitioning because im tired of doing my hair and i want that natural look again...so i was wondering what do you do to your hair like on a daily basis? how often do you wash and condition your hair and what do you use? oh yea and any tips to speed up the process? oh and i refuse to do the big chop..i will wait

  • I usually wear a twist out most of the time. I was usually 1x a week, I think ill get into washin it more once Im completely natural. I was using only all natural products, but I'e been switchin it up lately. I recently tried Herbal Essence- Hello Hydration..really nice. LoL,no...no tips to speed up the process, just try 2 take good care of your hair..keep it mosturized, trim if your ends look super raggedy. Time will start to fly by & be4 u kno it..u'll hav a nice amount of beautiful new growth

  • would you say you have coarse hair?

  • No, I dont believe so, but if I blow dry it...you would think that it is coarse.

  • It has been 6 months for me ya'll & I am still staying strong & not looking back.

  • that's sum great growth how long have you been transitioning? it'll be a year for me in june!

  • Wow, a year congrats for going that long! For me a year & a half!

  • Your hair is very pretty and my texture is very close to yours just from looking at the pics.

  • thanks for the vid. i am in the process of transitioning now (i think lol). i am currently 5 months post. hopefully i will make it =p

  • Im sure you will! You can do it!

  • No worries you will make it I'm 5 months post and will be 6months post june 5th.

    Have faith... :)

    Mya xx

  • this was really nice i wish i would have transitioned longer so i could have tried more styles

  • Thank u! But now eventhough you're natural, you can still a lot of styles...prob even more!

  • Thanks for the videos... I'm about to make the leap into the transition from relaxed to natural and these styles are really helpful..

  • Welcome to transitioning! Glad you found my videos helpful! Im sure you'll enjoy this journey.

  • you are a good sprt at dealing with those 2 textures,i had to cut mine off because of it tangling up.however you real look really cute with the natural hair that you have right now ....go ahead and do the big chop lol!! but seriously your hair is so cute

  • LoL, yeah..it can be annoying at times. And yessss, it does get tangled. LoL @ u tellin me to do the big chop...I will sometime this year! And thanks!

  • I tried that style on my transition hair and it looked cute for the first two hours (professionally done) and then it went poof! lol!

So much for that on me. lol!

  • LoL, I wonder why it went poof so soon. Was it the weather..cause yea thata do it!

  • Yes i tried it last weekend and they were a BIT sloppy but it was my first try... i will be trying again :)

  • Oh ok, a 2nd try with styles usually come out better.

  • Very Nice!

  • What product did you use on your hair before you went under the dryer? DId you use a wrap/set lotion?

  • I wish I remembered; that was my 1st & only time doing it so far. But, I think it was either Kera Care foam wrap lotion w/ water or lottabody wrap lotion.
