i'm not a point guard I'm about 6"8 and when I ball at first I wasn't good at shooting the 3 but the dude at the park taught me and my cuzin how to shoot always make sure your middle finger is pointed towerds the middle of the rim keep your wrist and elbow straight now its going to take some use to but I used to pratice at the park by my self for about 2 hours a day when I play i don't anymore and still to this day I can hop on the court and shoot with the best of em that tip should help you
