Sometimes you drive and think about something else, it doesn't make you stupid, just inattentive. There are times when you should focus more when driving and other times when it's not as necessary. Being able to identify those times or not separates the good driver from the bad one. It comes from with experience. He's not stupid, just probably thinking about something else; Unlike the engineer who came up with the idea of putting a wall there...
Don't worry. They fix it so no one would be able to tell that it had a little crash...and after fixing, it will be sold with a price of totally new car. :D

How stupid to say that the wall is too low! He works there and knows there's a wall there! I've actually seen the same thing done on the corner of a 15ft wall. It certainly wasn't in a 'blind spot'. It's the driver's fault, pure and simple.
Low walls and bollards are often the cause of bumps and scrapes like this one due to the fact that they are often in a blind spot. Having said that, he should have seen it as he drove up to it and should therefore have been able to make a judgement as to how wide to take that corner.
As for comments about women drivers, if women had the monopoly on bad driving, then it would be far easier to spot bad drivers. Unfortunately they don't and it isn't (but it gives us a good laugh on YouTube!)

One of the salesmen was directing him reversing out of the garage and told him to swing the wheel to the left, completly forgetting the low wall, like the one in this video. Caused a big dent all down the side of the car. Of course the salesman had to pay for the damage
I did something similar. I parked my van in a parking lot next to a lightpole base (cement base about 3ft high). When I came out and got in my van I couldn't see the base and forgot it was there. Cranked the steering wheel to the right and stepped on the gas.
the guy is less then smart, but the lot is badly designed, if the wall wasnt there there wouldnt be this problem, but they cant remove it or there will be a ledge there, so it is a catch 22 because of bad design

My uncle had a similar incident. Just bought a new Nissan. One of the salesmen was directing him reversing out of the garage and told him to swing the wheel to the left, completly forgetting the low wall, like the one in this video. Caused a big dent all down the side of the car. Of course the salesman had to pay for the damage

I did something similar. I parked my van in a parking lot next to a lightpole base (cement base about 3ft high). When I came out and got in my van I couldn't see the base and forgot it was there. Cranked the steering wheel to the right and stepped on the gas.
