That sensei makes me cry, hes a great one because:

-He knew that that fungus could kill him, but anyway, because chopper almost died getting it, he just acted and eated it.

-When he got lured by the king, instead of being pissed he just said "im happy that it was a lie", these words made the leader of the royal army open hes eyes.

Of all storys of characters, this one was the only who almost made me sad most, even more than the Robin Story.

i agree the japenese version is better, i dunno, the voices have more soul and life in them than than any dubs, mostly because Oda has full control over the anime, im not sure about the english dubs, or any other dubs for that matter, but you have to admit if one piece is going to be in english; Funimation has to do it, and they are A LOT better than 4kids, ugh.

Dubs are distracting and ruin the original mood of the material. In this case they also censor it.

For example, in the manga and the original anime, Sanji smokes a cigarette. In Funimation he simply has nothing in his mouth. In 4kids, it's a fucking _lollipop_.

They've removed blood, changed beer to juice or whatever, changed black people to white people. They even censor all crosses, including MEDICAL ones and "gomu gomu no pistol" is called "gum gum blast" to not mention a gun.
