Terrific playing. I think the roland td 20 sounds better than any other electronic kit. Even the new Dtx900k. Even though some sounds are not as natural as a real kit they still sound nice and never cheap. This guy is phenomenal!

For any 'unseasoned' drummers out there, if you watch and 'listen' to this guy, you'll notice that he flows really nice .... because he is relaxed and just lets the groove flow through him. Too many drummers today are so uptight and tense in their playing. You can learn something from this guy in the video .. nice style man

the S is only sold in the us and the K is for the rest of the world. there's no difference between the 2. the rack info are in the owner's manual.

I am not an agent of Yamaha. In fact I just tell the obvious. Therefore the statement "V-Drums are not real drums" is just a needles truth Chowza.

They do not produce any sound other that tapping noises. They play copied samples.. They are synthesizers that have a very cool outlook, flourished with a design that gives the feeling of a drum simulation.

İt's not the number of things a gadget can do that makes it a drum bro. Even if it can make ice cream it is not a real drum :)

BTW I I must correct myself. They aren't even synthesizers. Synthesizers can produce sound through oscillators.

I don't know if a TD20 have oscillators in them. If so, they are musical instruments ok but still not drums.

I can just read between the lines. Your gripe with the V-Drums is that they aren't "real". They are tangible, so hence, they must be real. What can an acoustic set do that the V-Drums can't? Give you a warm fuzzy that they are so-called "real"? The number of things the V-Drum set can do that the acoustic can't? Countless. If I had a TD-20 set and the best acoustic set you can afford next to me right now. I'd play the TD-20.

I Agree, In a way. You shouldn't talk down the v-drums that much, I have my own and they are extremely useful. Although I have my own acoustic kit, theres nothing like getting in practice at 3 in the morning, and my band likes me playing the v-drums more during practice because their ears don't bleed =).

Clearly spot on.... This is a very high quality performance... notice how the fills are seamlessly embedded within the groove...(you can really notice this when the 16th and 32nd notes aren't squashed together or streched apart as they approach the 1). He fears nothing in the way of what he is doing. Yes, def. the most put together performance I'v seen by a regular guy in his bedroom.
