Well I thought it strange that the orchestral part was played to tape only after they had made the solos and these choral parts. Evolution is a genetic process which happens to populations as a result of the environment killing individuals who possess certain traits while others survive to pass on their DNA, changing the average genetic makeup of the population. Evolution does not happen to an individual in their lifetime. Agriculture and music are cultural behaviors which can be taught by one individual to another. Still, I agree that it is good to be open minded.
