@Counterpablo there is a channel called "Len0rmand" on this channel you can see some crazy times with xsara, also the 2:32 on ger1. i think he is the best player in cmr2005, atleast one of the best

@MAXLD ok i understand, only one thing that could make it better would be if you drive with manual gearbox, i noticed that in cmr2005 you can gain a lot of time when you play with manual, more than for example in cmr2 or 4

A lot, around dozens, 90% are failed attempts with mistakes during the stage + restarts. :) It gets quite annoying after a few hours, but it's very rewarding when everything goes very well and very fast, specially with the Quattro. xD

Very rarely, I prefer to use very light steering and slide the car while braking. Sometimes I even use the sides of the road while braking to make the car steer itself and help the slide.

Really good! I've start playing this game a few days, and I'm far from being as good as you. The only thing that upset me is that I can't change my car settings. Every time I try to change it, the game shutdown. It's a great game, anyway, I'm even thinking about buying a wheel.

I hope I can ask another question: Should I put the anti-roll bar soft when i race gravel rallys like Finland (The anti-roll bar is a mystery for me in this game...)

Theoretically for that rally you should make it quite soft for such gravel and uneven roads. But it could be tricky if you use it with very high and/or soft suspension, because it the car will roll over more easily when sliding. On the other hand, if you tune it too hard, the car will loose grip on the gravel and you'll slide more on the corners, losing time in the process and possibly hitting a tree. I would go for a medium setting for Finland and softer for Australia (less jumps).

@Peasuke13 In this rally I use tarmac settings, although not so extreme as the Japan ones. Very light steering, hard and low suspension, short gearbox, tarmac tyres. Something like that. Watch out for the gravel part, it gets very slippery with those settings.

What you mean by "4wd"? The Quattro is 4wd and was the first rally car to have it. Anyway, there are stages where a WRC car (Impreza, Evo, ....) can be quite fast compared to GroupB, but in others... not even close.

Overall, the 205Ti (4wd) is normally quite faster than the Quattro, due is better control. So, it's not a surprise if someone says that is faster than me using it.

I just enjoy the Audi more.

Tweak the settings to something like this: Lowest suspension, hardest suspension, Lightest steering and second quickest gearbox ratio. Then is all about braking and accelerate hard to exit the corner ... quicky. :)

By only .52! Brilliant! I've also managed to improve my own time on this stage (in the rain as well) I have a bad bad habit of constantly using the brakes to get round corners. I managed to make myself slide around with no power then slam the power back on. It's given my 10 - 16 seconds (which goes to show how bad I am at this game XD)
