i let my uncle how my mattews compund bow it is set at 60 pounds, he dry fired it... i had a new string put on about 100 shots befor it happened and i was wonder if i am ok to shoot it again,i looked over every thing. i checked the string over and over there is no stretching or any kind of out of the ordanary. there is no cracks in the cams or limbs. please help me i am realy woried about it.
if there is anybody more informed than I am, please let me know what diameter does the hit zone have (in compound elimination rounds) and what distance are the arrows shot from?

archers shooting from 50 meters.

@serkondr Thanks :D. I asked my teacher today at practice the same thing and already began training. It's awful....and annoying ~X(
but I'll get used to it....national championships in 2 1/2 weeks :D
