Not that Mario is bad, I like jumping around like a freak and being a plumber while doing it. You didn't even consider some of the up and comer games. Bioshock, Halo's (all three) and several different titles all beating out pretty much anything you just referenced as a video game. Mario was really the only one in there that made sense, because Mario is a corporate owned name, so it sold millions. How about Legend of Zelda? Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy(Any one, pick em, Square put all sorts of fucking amazing shit in their games), try maybe Doom as a shooter, which evolved way past your little Quake.
