  • A Forty-Three-Year Odyssey: Tom Yuill's Conversion Story

    Mormon Scholars Testify

  • The couple have four children, Jacob, seven; Lucy, five; Maisy, two, and baby daughter Scarlett, born in October.

  • The aim of the project is to produce a high-quality, every-name index by adding on to the volunteer base that FamilySearch has nurtured in its drive to produce indexes for the digital images drawn from its 2 million-plus microfilms held at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah.

  • The project is also receiving additional support from leading societal organizations like the Federation of Genealogical Societies, National Genealogical Society and Ohio Genealogical Society.

    January 18, 2012

  • It would have helped if The Times had noted that many of the defining elements of Mormon theology are also rejected by the two largest and oldest branches of Christianity, as in the Catholic Church (click here for a key document) and the churches of Eastern Orthodoxy. Why not add that additional sentence to give readers the wider picture?

  • Well can't find your comment on here to reply to , but I have never known anyone to have their Temple worthiness threatened cause of thinking .

  • This video says it all. All you anti morms and sons of perditions out there have fun while you can because the end is near, even at the door.

  • I came back to laugh.

  • Also there is no temple going LDS member who's ever been through the "endowment ceremony" who doesn't know what I am saying is true. They do a freemasonic ritual where they buy costumes receive their demon names, they are bathed and fondled, threatened with their life and the freemasonic gesture of throat slashing and disembowlment if they ever speak to anyone about what goes on in their "secret" ceremony (ritual) or if they ever engage in independent, or investigative thinking when it comes

  • @aimeecurry46 to considering any ANTI MORMON speech or literature. Then they do a little Adam and Eve Garden of Eden skit where they get expelled then they put on their "freemasonic apprenticeship aprons of the priesthood of Lucifer" then they go into the "lone and dreary world" where they kneel down behind Cain's rejected of God, unacceptable sacrific on an altar. They call out to 'god' of the LDS temple at which time Lucifer answers and they've become his apprentice. (legal agreement)

  • Comment removed

  • @aimeecurry46 They are closet Luciferians. They even had to pass a law in Utah making it NOT illegal if a child is sexually molested or assaulted by a relative. Less they start losing membership and tithes. That's dispicable that its come to the point of being acceptable common knowledge. Glen Pace made a conservative guess that their could be as many as 300 coven's in the SLC area alone. President Hinkley admits that the 'jesus' that mormons worship is not the same one that Christians worship?

  • @aimeecurry46

    You're kidding? Right???

  • @aimeecurry46 SO WHAT IT LIKE TO BE A SON OF PERDITION?

  • @MrMFHORN Have you been through the endowment ceremony yet?

  • @aimeecurry46 Yes, I remember years ago I went to the temple grounds to receive revelation concering a beloved dog . Early the next morning I dreamed that I was squating down fixing the lawn mower when my dog came from behind me and put his right paw on my right shoulder I went to shrug him off when I felt the most beautiful and sweetist feeling. Now relizing whats happening, I awoke and could still feel the energy of him thanking me for looking after him. Wonderful divine power , isn't it?

  • @MrMFHORN What does that have to do with the endowment ceremony? Other than an example of mormons engaging in necromancy a thing which God hates?

  • @aimeecurry46 Sometimes I slash my throat for fun. The hospitals are getting tired of it though.

    Your comments are hilarious.

  • @BornAgainstMormons Have you been through the endowment ceremony yet?

  • Kudos to the independent thinkers who distance themselves from that freemasonic luciferian brain washing cult. Freemasonry is Luciferianism, you can read a handbook for anyone of the degrees and clearly surmise that. They refer to Lucifer as their worshipful master. You can also read the early history of the church or just simply look at all the freemasonic occult symbolism they proudly display all over the outside of their LDS temples and see what they are all about.

  • @aimeecurry46 You could also look up an LDS internal memo that had been intercepted and sent to the media by a concerned individual who didn't want it to get swept under the carpet privately. It was by SLC temple president Glen L Pace it was regaurding an ongoing investigation to rampant pervasive allegations of Satanic Ritual Abuse and human sacrifice and rituals that were going on in the temple, being conducted by high ranking freemasonic members.

  • It's hard to allow something evil to continue to deceive people. That's why.

  • Yeah, your lives will be like this cartoon character if you are not Mormon.

Dear me. My life is a lot better now as an ex-mormon. I am free of guilt and fear of something that doesn't exist (Satan and God)

  • Kicking at the pricks. Who then would the pricks be? You might want to rethink this one. Kinda sounds like a self-admission.

  • Great video! Very funny and honestly portrays the truth about the hell and "buffetings of satan" that those who leave the Mormon Church will suffer. Honesty is all we can ask for - especially in a public forum. Thanks!

  • @Doesthetruthmatter Of course you do realize that the constant threats of harm and misery for those who would dare to leave your religion is PRECISELY the reason you are properly labeled a cult. A "Christian" cult to be sure, but a cult nonetheless.

The only "buffetings of satan" I endured were at the hands of other members of the church, when trying to resolve the deep cognitive dissonance of their dogma, and the TOTAL LACK of corroborative evidence for it.

  • @TheAsmodeus2012 Actually, I am no longer Mormon either and agree with you. In my comment, I meant to say that the video honestly portrays what Mormons "believe" those who leave will suffer. I liked the video not because of the portrayal of the sufferings the those who leave mormonism will suffer - but rather because it publicly shows what mormons actually believe in this regard, rather than the normal sunshine & lollipops LDS public show that we love everyone so much - even those who leave.

  • @Doesthetruthmatter Ahhh. I was rather tired at the time, my apologies. Carry on then. lol

  • @Doesthetruthmatter You don't even ask for HONESTY from you so called Prophet's of God? lol Give me the name of one of your prophets and give you some false prophecies he made and where you can find them in your own Churches literature. Source and Reference. Let;s see if that little puppy dog ass of yours can back up that bulldog mouth! Put me to the test.

  • i wonder what the LDS church is going to do in 2050...statisticians say in 2050 muslims in america will reach majority...i really wonder if Utah will still be 90% mormon

  • @Talba91

They also said that by 2080, there would be 265 million mormons. We're not in danger of that, so I doubt the muslims will be a majority either :)

  • @Kaileo2 well muslims are already the majority in the world, the Catholic Church revealed to the public that their membership numbers in the world are now lower than that of the the Islamic faith..so how hard can it really be for them to reach majority in U.S.?

  • @Talba91

I guess we'll have to wait and see. Don't underestimate the fact that, as knowledge spreads and understanding increases, more people are becoming agnostic or atheist, too. That could have an impact.

  • This is dispicable. Threatening members, and insulting ex members, by saying that by leaving the church their lives will be miserable or that their lives are miserable. (Often self fulfilled prophesy due to the ill treatment of ex-mormons by their communities after they leave) What a great big social prophetic label to keep people in line.

  • @HolyNonbeliever

what a croc of melodramatic horse manure.

  • @HolyNonbeliever Do you live the Standards of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints ?

  • @HolyNonbeliever You should go on anti mormon sites like the Mormon Curtain and listen to some of the Ex-Mos' horror stories about being stalked, harassed, "'love' bombed" (passive-aggressive behavior) Mormons sneaking behind their back disregaurding their wishes trying to override their authority and get to their kids to manipulate them into manipulating their parents back into the cult. Some have moved only to find that they have been tracked down and have had missionaries sent to their home.

  • @HolyNonbeliever That is not a Christian Church that is a flipping brain washing controlling Luciferian Cult pretending to be Christians to steal more souls for the Devil! Yikes.....

  • I used to think this way too. If I left the church, I would become obsessed with it, hate myself, and the members of it much the same way Satan does.

I don't doubt the church because I was offended, or because of sin. I didn't leave it because it was too hard to live, and I don't feel a need to 'kick against pricks'. I discovered that people have to learn for themselves to really dig for the truth, and have courage to act on it

villainizing me and making you a martyr is a manipulation.

  • @ShatterYourillusions

    Very well said!

  • @ShatterYourillusions Good for you you are a man with integrity, who is using the mind God gave you to exercise independant thought and intuitive investigation for truth! Your reward you will now have salvation. That mormons reward well Jesus said you can't serve two masters.

  • Not fallen down any metaphysical canyons yet, that because they are metaphysical not real. The only thing to fear is fear itself brother, Im flying free without any burden of a religous doctrine, I dont get as confused or depressed about the world.

  • @wearemadeofstars81

"Im flying free without any burden of a religous doctrine"

Sorta like coming out of the "metaphysical" closet eh?

  • Yes, it's hard to leave it alone. It's sad and so disheartening when you find you can no longer trust those you trusted so much. If you want to know the truth about what anyone teaches you, the answers are now easy to find. You would be surprised at what you find in the church's own history and documentation. If the church is true it should stand up to close scrutiny. Good luck to you.

  • I don't think this video coincides with typical Mormon values of love and acceptance and I don't think this is of Christ either. It feels almost threatening, as in that you enjoy the pain that your 'ex Mormon' brothers or sisters go through. It is sad to see many Mormons be blinded by the light. And value being right more than truth.

The mantra 'you can leave but can't leave it alone' is evidence that you don't understand -purely because you don't seek to.

  • @foodnetwerk

"as in that you enjoy the pain that your 'ex Mormon' brothers or sisters go through"

I do not enjoy, or find funny, the pain others suffer.

In fact , I have said I don't on this comment board.

I however am aware that some( not all) ex-Mormons do enjoy trying to make Mormons suffer through rhetoric, verbal abuse, and outright lies.

That youtube brand of ex-Mormon are the ones I spoof in my videos.

  • Hah! This is great! Anti-mormons couldn't be better categorized than "crash and burn!" Kicking against the pricks! Good one!

  • It is, Brother Stratov concluded, "a moment in Ukraine's history, a moment in the history of the Church."

  • Brother Stratov looked around the temple grounds filled with hundreds of people and said, "This — this! — is what they have done. Just think how the Lord has blessed these people, how the strength of the gospel has just permeated their souls and led to this. As I see people from all parts — from Minsk, Odessa and Russia and other parts of the old Soviet Union — to see how this has come to fruition … I don't know if it is a dream or just a fantasy or a reality that has come true."

  • Brother Stratov spoke of the day he completed his mission in Ukraine. "A man with a tear in his eye came to me and said. 'What are we going to do without you?' "

  • @omiolo Why wouldn't communists whole heartedly embrace Momornism. They are both freemasonic and Luciferian ideologies. Kind of a symbiotic relationship if you ask me....Or Lucifer!

  • sigh, makes me glad I left.

  • Interesting.... thats all here, just interesting, doesnt prove a point..

  • You dont really think thats the meaning of it is hard for the to kick against the pricks?

  • A lot of writing, a lot of patience, interviewing anyone who would even know my family," she described.

Today, computer search engines pull family names out of the air.

As Szucs and some of the country's most ardent genealogists gathered in Salt Lake City from April 28 to May 1, Internet connections in and around the Salt Palace Convention Center were buzzing with family history activity.

  • She interviewed relatives. She wrote letters because phone calls and photocopies were too expensive. She rented a microfilm reader, scanned through reel after reel of census records and even enlisted the help of her children -- giving them a quarter for every family name they found.

  • Clearly the maker of all these videos feels threatened by anyone challenging his religion and its teachings. Only a very weak person would actually believe hook line and sinker that An angel showed a boy a gold book, and that boy translated that gold book with a magic rock he found in a well. Of course, you would also have to know that the magic rock had already been in use by the boy to look for buried gold in the hills near his house. Not much logic to the fairy tale.

  • @mdlinks did you disappear or just switch to another username?

  • @mdlinks You know those plates estimating from the descriptions and known gold weights would have weighed over 200lbs. Imagine a 14 year old boy carrying those under ONE arm, fighting off THREE grown men trying to steal them...Successfully I might add and then running MANY miles at BREAK-NECK SPEED to the safety of his own home. I would love to see anyone reenact this tall tale. Why isn't it just easier to believe that one day a young lad simply chose to tell a lie?

  • man i rly used 2 b a devout mormon till i saw this inspirational video

after watching a polar bear crash into cactis and u saying testi-phony, my veiws hav completely changed

how cud the church b true wen polar bears are still flying into cactus's

    thanks for opening my eyes

  • In recent years scientists have developed a theory to explain a mechanism by which sap runs. Their investigation includes the measurement of negative and positive pressures in the tree's sapwood.

  • The harvest of maple sugar occurs in the early spring. For hundreds of years farmers in New England have tapped millions of trees and have observed that the flow of maple sap is governed by a cycle of freezing and thawing temperatures

  • The members have rallied all over the country," said Brother Muir. "They have made thousands of blankets. The youth and institute groups have made more than 10,000 hygiene kits. Even in the affected areas, the members have organized in wards and branches to help one another and help their neighbors."

Meanwhile, the missionaries continue to provide service to all who are in need.

  • The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which is headquartered in Salt Lake City and claims 13.5 million adherents worldwide, referred all questions to the White House, which said the meeting was a "private visit" and declined to release any more details.

LDS officials have made a tradition of presenting presidents with their genealogical breakdowns.

  • @omiolo You mean reminding them that they too are descendants of one of the 13 Illuminati Satanic Bloodlines, just like Joseph Smith, so don't forget about the reciprocity! Wink Wink, don't forget the freemasonic handshake give me five, on the side, down the hole, whoops...... sold my soul!!!

  • Reid, Oaks and LDS Church President Thomas S. Monson met with President Obama in the Oval Office last July and presented him with a copy of his family's genealogy.

"This documentation of their lineage will be cherished and passed on for future generations," Reid said in a statement. "I am honored that the church can play a part in documenting the history of the first family."

  • The rebuilding of western Peru has stretched beyond members who lost their homes. A small placard can be found near the entrance of Pisco's San Miguel School. The placard pays tribute to the Church and its efforts to rebuild the school after it was all but demolished in the quake. Today, children in the area are being educated in a sturdy two-winged, red-walled school built by the Church.

  • @omiolo and what is the church teaching them?

  • @fudley2003

to NOT be an ANTImormon because that leads to DIVORCE and ABUSE!

but I am guessing you ALREADY know that!

  • @omiolo That's funny when Utah has one of the highest statistical scores for Divorce, Suicide, Incest, Child Abuse and Divorce. RRRRrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiicccccccchhhhhhh!!!! And reports of Satanic Ritual Abuse right behind California!

  • @aimeecurry46 "Utah has one of the highest statistical scores for "

You are making up this GARBAGE. What do you have AGAINST telling the TRUTH?

  • @omiolo Now would this be an attempt to try to 'grease the cat' so to speak because the LDS desperately would like to usurp the culture of central America and offer it up as the long awaited truth that there at last is "proof" of the civilization spoken of in the BOM the 183 year old mystery is solved. lol Also you should have no problem converting them the Mayans used to be a Pagan Mystery School religon as are Freemasons so they should fall for that hook, line, and sinker.

  • @aimeecurry46 "LDS desperately would like to usurp the culture of central America"

LDS are NOT too keen on the drug war down there. I take it you ANTImormons like the torture and death?

  • @omiolo Why don't you watch a video called THE BIBLE VERSUS THE BOOK OF MORMON you can see for yourself the indigenous native population of Central America laughing and shaking there head perplexed by the Mormon Church trying to usurp their culture and saying that they never saw a horses in Central America until the spanish brought them there.

  • @aimeecurry46 "Why don't you watch a video called THE BIBLE VERSUS THE BOOK OF MORMON"

Why don't I watch the BIRTH OF A NATION. I will get the SAME type of LIES and bigoted propaganda there.

Seriously, have you been diagnosed with paranoid SCHIZOPHRENIA yet?

  • @omiolo Oh, so your familiar with With The Bible Versus The Book Of Mormon then. Well it shouldn't be too hard for you to give me an example of some of the things that were said in it that you felt were lies and bigoted propaganda then. Go on give me five untruths that you found contained in it and cooborating evidence you know of that disputes it.....? I'll be anxiously awaiting your answer I can't wait to see how your going to put your money where your mouth is.

  • Sister Conde's faith would be rewarded. They have built again. The family lives in a modest two-level house constructed as part of the Church's home rebuilding program in Peru.

  • Child molester

  • is that why you spent years in jail??

  • " 'Yes,' she said, 'I have prayed and I am at peace. We have all we need. We have each other, we have our children, we are sealed in the temple, we have this marvelous Church and we have the Lord. We can build again with the Lord's help.' "

  • @novarone72 no I'm not joking. I met Monson at my sons baptism. And Perry and a priesthood meeting. As far as them being prophet's. Your first prophet made seven false prophacies. That makes him a false prophet. And where did your modern day prophets het their mantles? From a false prophet. There are wolves in your flock. And your prophets give them the key. Look at your churches history. The real one not the disinfecteced one your prophets want you to believe. I say it in love not hate.

  • @omiolo LOL thats funny! I mean when your not up on the pedastal!

  • Tate, a professor of humanities and comparative literature at BYU, said he was struck by the date of the revelation when he was getting ready to teach a class on World War I for BYU's London Study Abroad program 10 years ago. It was then that he realized that around the time of the revelation, WWI and the flu epidemic of 1918-19 was rampant.

  • "If your name is Gordon Hinckley, my name is Camilla Kimball," she said.

"I had to show her my driver's license" to prove it, Gordon D. said.

When people learn who Gordon K. is, they remember his name.

  • @ but what of joseph and all of his false prophacies? Just one made him a false profit. Why do you follow a liar? Why do you prove my point? When it was him who took the name of Christ and made it something to suspect? What of these wonders omiolo?

  • Jordan Baker of the Santa Margarita California Stake walks the runway to demonstrate modest fashion.

  • SANTA MARGARITA, CALIF.

Fifty-two young women from the Santa Margarita California Stake came together to walk the runway in a fashion show put on by professional stylists, makeup artists, hair stylists and 25 local vendors to celebrate fashionable modesty.

  • High fashion meets high standards

  • @omiolo how high are you?

  • do you mean how tall?

  • Is this what they show you at BYU??

  • @cezza57 I wouldn't know , never been there.

  • Psalm 86:8-10 reads:

8 Among the gods there is none like you, O Lord; no deeds can compare with yours. 9 All the nations you have made will come and worship before you, O Lord; they will bring glory to your name. 10 For you are great and do marvelous deeds; you alone are God.

    God bless you too =D

  • I think the Big Picture is what makes The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints so easy to understand actually . I have always liked to tear things apart and see what makes them work etc. and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints makes sense to the logical mind as well as the spiritual mind

  • @mollymu1 How exactly can one tear things apart and see how they work if they are bound by the parameters that they can only take into consideration a heterodox viewpoint. They are restrained from independent investigation and reseach and thought because it might lead to temple "unworthiness" ?

  • Harper's experience greatly changed his life. He was sitting at the breakfast table and talking with his dad about something he had just read in the LDS Church News. He remembers he was eating cold cereal, but he can't tell you what cereal. He remembers sitting to the left of his dad, but he can't remember the clothes he or his dad were wearing. Some details are fuzzy, yet he can remember exact words his father said. Word for word. The experience was significant -- and, he says, he was sacred.

  • @omiolo I see you testify a lot about how wonderful your church is. But never on how the LORD has changed your. Born in the covenants maybe? I wonder if Joseph repented for all the evil he has done? I have met Thomas Monson, and Elder Tom Perry, I have a picture of me shaking Perrys hand. They like you have such powerful testamonies of your church. But say little of JESUS. Why is that?

  • You treat the sacred name of Jesus Christ as if it is yours to be manhandled. Jesus Christ is a sacred name, NOT a tool for manipulation and deceit.

    REPENT!

  • @pappy you must be joking. Our modern day prophets testify of Jesus, they preach of Jesus, they stand as a witness for Him at all times and in all places. If you truly shook a prophet's hand. you would know this, and if you do not know this, then I doubt very much you shook their hands.

  • @novarone72 If you were familiar with the Bible then you would know that there were 3 in heaven who were a witness. The father and the son and the Holy Ghost. And there are three on earth which do testify and that is the spirit the water and the blood. Jesus also said that you can't serve two masters and if you've been through the endowment ceremony and have already made your apprenticeship apron of the priesthood of Lucifer with him then you've made your choice clear.

  • Elder William "Ed" Kilgore, Caribbean Area medical services director for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and Dr. Jeff Randle, a Salt Lake rehabilitation specialist, stopped by to assess needs and check on a local LDS doctor, Gislaine Saint Louis, who had been giving care to her fellow Haitians outside the church.

  • "The airport's open; flights are landing," he said. "Small bits of news like that are very gratifying."

Especially when you're in a delivery business like Leishman and the LDS Church.

  • "Even in its best days, Haiti is a challenging place to live," he said.

Little by little, the initial emotions of shock and sadness in Haiti are being replaced by hints of hope. It's more of the latter the LDS Church is hoping to instill in Haiti.

  • @omiolo I totally agree. They ARE instilling the latter! (hope)

My friend is a doctor in Haiti right now that was sent by the church. It is so devastating for those people, but people are being met by the doctors the church sent and are given hope that was lost, one person at a time. It's the same hope that's being instilled in the hearts of people spiritually after other hardships by the missionaries, and it's the same way the Savior works - one by one.

  • @gord1921

    what type of doctor?

  • Given the deadly, destructive nature of Tuesday's quake, Leishman said the assessment phase of relief efforts may last two to three weeks. And the recovery phase may last two to three years, with housing, hospitals, schools, government buildings and infrastructure needing to be rebuilt.

  • The hygiene kits are the standard humanitarian staple provided by the LDS Church throughout the world — two combs, four toothbrushes, two bars of soap, two cotton hand towels and one large tube of toothpaste.

  • Despite these shades of prejudice, Brother Dickey enjoys unearthing more than just sterile names and dates. He knows it's the little details that make history come alive. One of his recent projects involved transcribing the diaries of his great-grandmother, Florence Adelle Payson Pearse, who kept a record of her life from 1936-1937.

  • can someone please tell me what this cartoon is called please? i saw it once at a airport and loved it.. but dont know the name of it.. thanks..

  • Im pretty sure the mormons are the ones that can't let it go. I dont keep visiting their church yet they keep visiting my home, unannounced and uninvited no less.

  • @CranberryCoke Just ask them to please take you off their list of people to visit or something like that. They should respect your wishes.

  • why should i have to? should i have to tell every telemarketer that calls my house not to bother me? and what happens when i run into the elders on the street (they regularly tract through my neighborhood) should I also remind them I am on their do not call list? How about just leaving people alone? Believe me, everyone knows where to find the mormons if we need them for anything like a rally against whatever minority they are currently targeting.

  • @CranberryCoke Dude, sorry they're an inconvenience to you for 30 seconds of your life. Just tell them once and they won't come back to your house. Do solicitor on the street know that you aren't on a do not call list? NO.

By the way, is there really a cranberry coke? That sounds really good!

  • And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.

    Moroni 10:4

these anti-mormons kick against the pricks in vain!

  • @LDSapologist71 If the "pricks" means trying to save your souls from eternal damnation by making a pact with lucifer in the endowment ceremony. Down on your knee swearing your allegiance, in your green freemasonic apprenticeship (legal agreement) apron of the priesthood of Lucifer. Then yes your right I fear we are kicking against you PRICKS in vain!

  • Journal of Discourses 5:73--"When the light came to me I saw that all the so-called Christian

    world was groveling in darkness."

Journal of Discourses 8:99--"With a regard to true theology, a more ignorant people never lived

than the present so-called Christian world."

Journal of Discourses 6:25--"What! Are Christians ignorant? Yes, as ignorant of the things of

    God as the brute beast."

    Orson Pratt

  • Proving Mormonism to be a false doctrine is not an attack but a defense of the

Christian faith. Joseph Smith, the founder of Mormonism made the first attack by claiming that

all Christian denominations are an abomination in God's sight.

If a Latter Day Saint should ask you this question, you need only look as far as their own

scriptures and to the words of their leaders for an answer:

  • Trying turning the cheek. Christ taught that. If you're attacked., Ignore them.

  • Are you offended by us ex, and or anti mormons? What are you so scared of?

Why do you have to go an make a silly video(s) all about it if it does not bug you?

    Hum whose obsessed?

  • Not sure what your point is. Who's obsessed? Clearly, this video indicates who that is, and all the snide remarks in the world won't change the facts.

  • Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.

  • Great Video! Two thumbs up!

  • I am not sure which hurts the most. getting all those catcus thorns in you or plucking them out. I am pretty sure that plucking them out hurts just as bad.

  • Also science tells that the first people are from africa not america

  • It's interesting that all your video clips are the works of other people. The Book of Moron also has LARGE chunks copied directly from the Bible. Plagiarism at it's best here! Do you have any original thoughts or videos?

  • it's not plagiarism. god sent both nations the revelation SIMULTANEOUSLY. Prophets of the old and new world were recieving it.

  • What? You mean original like, "Children in LDS Mormon community chant "Assassinate Obama"? Spare us your ill concieved insights.

  • That is a lie. We don't chant things like that. It is against our faith to promote anyone be assassinted. Nice try though.

  • Chevro,

What about the mountain meadow massacres?

I thought it was against your faith to promote assassinations.

  • The people who committed that horrible act went against the church. What those few did while horrible did not represent the whole church. Nice try though. If we follow your line of thought then that would make Protestants theives and murderers right? Since they destroyed an entire Mormon city? Or how about the Extermination order of Missouri? Again real nice try.

  • I think Brigham Young had a lot to do with the massacres, but anyway, speaking of Brigham Young, did you know that he taught that Adam was God?

Don't you think a prophet should know who God is?

God says a prophet should have the right theology about God, otherwise they are false. Deut 13:1-5

  • February 19, 1981, McConkie "...people who teach false doctrine in the fundamental and basic things will lose their souls. The nature and kind of being that God is, is one of these fundamentals"

  • well since the infamous MORmON extermination order actually originated with MORmON syndey rigdon & was sanctioned by Joe who had it printed up in the MORmON newspaper for all MORmON members to see, you are just choking on your own MORmON vomit.

NObody in Utah in the 1850's was going against B.Young's wishes & living very long to tell about it. You are a lying pawn of an EVIL cult corporation.

  • I didn't realise that divinegoddessartemis is expecting God to give two completely different messages to two different nations. Let's me check the Bible and Book of Mormon.... no, they're the same message from same author. Just different nations and their histories.

  • Mormon teachings of Israelites living in America have been PROVEN wrong. No genetic connection, no historical evidence, nothing.

  • No they haven't, and as for the next assertion, there is no way to prove that one way or the other, based on "REAL" science. And lastly, yes there is. My assertions at least, were not lies.

  • Nice try but we never claimed that life started in America or that Christ lived here. Once again Ani Mormon bigots don't even know what they are talking about.

  • According to teachings in the Book of Mormon, the Americas are a special location reserved by God for those who love freedom and freedom of religion. According to Joseph Smith, what is now Jackson County, Missouri was the location of the Garden of Eden and will be the location of the future New Jerusalem (from an encyclopedia)

So you don't claim that life started in america but you claim that adam, the first human, lived in Missuri. Tremendous difference!!!

Answer: They reject the same types of beliefs & rituals & proceed to vilify, demonize & spread hateful & harmful disinformation propaganda against them.

  • Someone asked how we get one hundred and thirty teenagers dressed up to pull handcarts for three days, said Durham. I just told him that they are great kids and really used to doing difficult things.

  • And through all of the hard work, mud, blisters and bugs, the teenagers are learning what the pioneers of their religion experienced.

  • I thought God loved everyone?

  • You thought right, but interestingly enough, we all told God before we were born that would learn obedience to the commandments and learn about God while in mortality that we too might share the glory of the Father in the resurrection.

How few today really live the gospel of Jesus Christ?

  • divine,

No, sorry, but God doesn't love everyone. Romans 9:13, Ps 5:5

  • Let me share the direction and counsel given by these prophets of God. For example, it was President Joseph Fielding Smith who often quoted the words set forth in the 24th chapter of Psalms, wherein a question is asked, an answer given, and a blessing promised to the faithful.

  • Doctrine and Covenants section 1 constitutes the Lords preface to the doctrines, covenants, and commandments given in this, the dispensation of the fulness of times. Of specific mention are verses 3738:

  • We can always trust the living prophets; their teachings reflect the word and will of the Lord. "Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets
