Does the 26.5" scale really make that much of a difference? I am looking into buying a new 7string, and he RGD series just look incredible, so metal, yet not to 'in da face' looks. I think i'll throw in some blackouts tho, so if the pickups suck, i don't care.

@JustSomeRandomNewb The difference is not too big. I tune it down to drop g# so the feeling is almost like a normal scaled 7string tuned to drop A.

Did dimarzios really make much difference?? i haven't found the need to change my stock pickups. and this sounds A LOT like Zyglrox by Periphery btw..

@metallica5252 No, I put the dimarzios in to compensate on my small dick. And who's Periphery? Just kidding... as is said in the last comment: Its just a short test video and the main riff is clearly based on Zyglrox. Cool song, by the way. If you are interested in my "own" music please go to my channel and give it a listen! Ah, and yes: the pickups really sound great. You should check them out. But as always it's just a matter of taste. Cheers!

@TheMonopascal I put dimarzios into my RG because they really needed them, my RGD is perfectly fine, reminds me of the Tone Zone/Air Norton combo that Petrucci started on when he was with Ibanez. His tone was ace when he was with Ibanez on Awake and Images and Words.

Why did you change the stock pups? You already had the Dimarzios' ? Or they weren't any good?

@thegrimreaper7 The stock pickups weren't that bad... But I was interested in the dimarzios and I think they do really well. Especially with the very low drop g# tuning the crunchlab sounds great. Very huge sound, but also very tight without getting too tinny when played clean. Cheers...!

This may be a question that people hate because no it really doesnt matter if its a nice guitar but... Is this a Japanese prestige or Korean prestige?  Itll say right on the back of the headstock.
