  • They're both beautiful talented musicians. Fuck who's better or less or more bland. Calm down Simon Cowells.

  • I love this song. I want to knw where to get this version

  • I have a face I cannot show - make the rules up as I go - and when these 2 women sing it with that knowing look Stevie gave Sheryl...truer words were never unsung or unspoken.

  • I have so much respect for these two. They need to duo more often

  • dear lord. so much talent and hotness.

  • the slide guitarist featured here is brilliant.

  • I just ran into a my cousin Amanda E. Hendrix at the talkin stick casino and she sang some stevie nicks....silver sping and I tell ya it made me cry and think about my current relationship of 9 yrs that is probably coming to an end for what ever reason he can think of....but any who.....I started thinkin is he strong to be my man like this song sheryl crow and stevie nicks sing.....hmmmm maybe not because I 'am a singer myself and it not easy for my other half to accept my talents out there.

  • Both of them at their best : )

  • Sheryl & Stevie voices blend very well . If you watch the vid on Tylor Swift with Stevie- Grammy 2010 , here agian you notice Stevie controlled her voice to allow the main or host singer to sing louder than her voice . She seem consious and she is courteous to her host . if you watch her performed by herself , you notice she sings loud and sway freely. She never try to out do the host singer . Notice . Stevie still look good at this age , of course she was fanstastic and sexy when she was young

  • two of the most knock out babes on the planet , singing like that .them chics got talent .

  • awesome <3

  • Just enjoy it!

  • 30 people are not strong enough to be their man :)

  • They tried too much to out do each other rather than the song Crow dosent even act her self here what the heck is she doing? weird!

  • @olddolls1 How do you "act" yourself? impossible!! I love Stevie. Crow is lucky to have had the opportunity!!

  • My words exactly!!! Wow........

  • Yeah VH1 !!!

  • LOVE IT

  • Fucking beautiful, what a pair of voices <3

  • Only Stevie Nicks can make the endlessly bland Sheryl Crow palatable to me. I do like some of her lyrics, but she just doesn't have the intensity, personality, or the voice to really ensnare me in a song like Stevie does.

  • @snowfish1121 - Surprised to see that someone thinks Sheryl's voice/style/etc is bland. If you have a few minutes, check out either or both of the following 2 videos to see if that changes your mind :-)

    watch?v=8geF5T666Mc

    watch?v=VaEhRlpMrnE

  • @snowfish1121 i so agree. not into sheryl. she has a California thing that i dont feel at all. Stevies the only CA artist i can be with

  • @theblueangel28

FYI, Sheryl Crow isn't from CA. Born and raised in Missouri. Her style is more Southern/Folk than Cali.

  • @andanicechianti I'm from Alabama. Sheryl Crow does have a some of that folk thing, buts its much more Cali folk than Bama folk. She watches the sun come up over Santa Monica Boulevard, not the Geaorgia rain falling Jasper county clay

BUT...yes, its just a generalization. i feel you. much love

  • @snowfish1121 You must be tone deaf.....or maybe blind to true greatness ;)

The irony is I felt the song was perfect for Cheryl and Stevie.Very complimentary personalties for a great song, but hey you probably think Billy Holiday was bland as well.

  • @chicagofrank10 Billie was amazing. Billie, not Billy, by the way. Way to make assumptions there. If I was "blind to true greatness," I'd not be a Stevie fan.

  • it depends on how hungry you are . when does it end ? When they throw dust in your nostrils; if you live only for the flesh contentment :

  • Thumbs up is just not good enough :)

  • Yes, on all accounts ;)

  • Daniel: Oh, Lordy! [who was it that said?:] If you put his brain on the head of a pin, it'd roll all over like a bowlin' ball on a six-lane highway, bless his heart.

  • sheryl crow= 2 bucks wife

  • Lie to me

    I promise I'll believe

    Lie to me

    But please don't leave

  • That's some songwriting right there.

  • WoW !!! What a duet ...

  • Hot...and Fucking good

  • I love this song. It is not all about a woman's career, a man should be there for a woman thru thick and then, sickness and in health..

  • JUST IN THE NICK OF TIME LADIES THAT I HEAR THIS SONG!

"ARE YOU STRONG ENOUGH TO BE MY MAN," I CAN'T TELL

YOU IN WORDS THAT THIS IS SO TRUE TO THE SEARCH FOR

    MINE, YES MY MAN!

    A LADY IN WAITING,

    "A MOTHER'S BABY IS A MOTHER'S STAR"

THANK YOU FOR YOUR STRENGTH TO KEEP MY STRENGTH TO SAY

    SOMEDAY "I DO"

  • Stevie is so amazing i swear she could sing any song and it would be 100 times better then it was originally!!

  • What a concert!! That was harmonizing at its best!!!

  • women can be understood, they just have a lot more factors pressing them in life, they're more complicated - the problem is that women want what they want, and men want what they want, and often enough, understanding doesn't do the trick - there must be a lot of compromise, and if that is too much to live with, then it won't work anyway -- but I'd sure give it a strong try with either of these women -

  • THIS SONG IS AMAZING ESPECIALLY WITH STEVIE NICKS HARMONIZING...i named my oldest daughter after her but 'Stevi Jayde'...just had to share that with you all you great musical people out there.....

  • watch?v=69T1jSokCEg

  • I was inspired by this and made my own video

  • I love to listen to both of these women, and to hear them together...beautiful. :-)

  • Stevie is awesome, she is a show all by herself..Turely one of the all time greats..

  • Stevie is AMAZING at the start of this. I could listen to her talk all day long.

  • Even better, are you strong enough for both of them together?

    :)

  • the only thing that could have made this better is if they started making out at the end of the song

  • @mystro810 That look from Stevie at 1:15 is wicked seductive. Not gonna lie.

  • All that time, I was a good man. {:/

  • I can relate to what they are saying about their extreme careers. If you look at this from the other end of the spectrum, look at an over the road truck driver (I am one). Are there any women strong enough to handle the extremities of a trucker? Not all of us are out there chasing skirt but one thing all of we TRUE and SERIOUS OTR drivers have in common: We give up a lot of time with family but we do it cause we love them.

  • her name is simon and cherly mixed together lol

  • This is a great song not only for women with extreme careers, but extreme lives.

  • @CoffeeMayCare yeah already been said

  • Too much talking... song doesnt start til ha;f way thru...

  • Jack Eblin!

  • This is Killa Dilla

  • What a great duo...So good..

    Thank You For The Post

    Jimmy

  • Wow this sounded incredible.

  • Thumbs up

  • I remember Jimmy Iovine saying Stevie can mold/wrap her voice around anyone - That is so true - even with Sheryl Crow, my third favorite artist after Lindsey Buckingham.

  • If Lindsey Buckingham wasn't strong enough to be Stevie's man; I don't think any man could, as history reveals she's only been maried once for 8 months and no kids.

  • I should sing this song to my love! perfect song !!

  • Oh my lordy. This is marvelous

  • You know ... I never realized how incredibly freaken hot Sheryl Crow is ..Damn !

  • @joewatch1971 lmao ":)

  • @joewatch1971

Totally - Sheryl's a friggin thoroughbred! I hadn't heard this song before and didn't know she wrote it. She is friggin unbelieveable. These are by far the two best sandy/gritty alto-range voices in rock. But I have to say that overall, I'd take sheryls voice over stevie's - before hearing this, I would never have said that. I had no clue sheryl was so good.

  • Blah blah blah intro sucked just sing, both amazing singers. was worth the intro.

  • Wow stevie just keeps that one of a kind voice and what great 2 to listern and see

  • my two favorite female artists singing one of my favorite songs . . . wow!

  • Love this song, its all good,... when its honest.......

  • all good

  • TripleTrouble

  • SO GREAT WOMEN !

  • @Orangey222 It's just you.

  • Holy Mackrel !!!! What a power duo .... Stevi as strong as ever and Sheryl Crow is one fine women !!!!!

  • I hope & pray that I am strong enough to be Von's man until the day I take my last breath. And then go to the world above with Von's image in my eyes, her voice in my head and the taste of her lips upon mine

  • I'm strong enough...but I am married to a powerful woman!

  • That's what you call HARMONY!!!

  • iii

  • MY Two Goddesses!!!

  • their voices cut right through you.

  • Why do lady all need a strong man

  • @dustonly1986 ...Because women are strong, and they need a strong man. No woman wants a weak man.

  • @nicoleakalilqueenie i know a couple women who prefer a weak man they can boss around.

  • Must be what angels sound like. Ouststanding.

  • Two of my most favorite singers, Stevie and Sheryl both singing with beautiful voices ;)

  • I'm strong enough, i'm only 20 but goddam i'm strong enough

  • God, the soul. It hurts.

  • Quote at 0:40 : every time we meet a new nice man it crosses our mind are you strong enough to possibly deal with our incredibly odd life. blaming extreme careers.

instead of the fact they are hard to live with train-wreck divas.

  • Love this music and performed by these two great voices?? Thank you!

  • Beautiful song, beautiful women..

  • Sheryl's music stevie crown and is very beautiful to be great Mejer you unique and a style

  • Sheryl's music stevie crown and is very beautiful to be great Mejer you unique and a style

  • Just F***ing perfect...thank you ladies

  • Love this song!! Haven't found one strong enough yet.

  • Two beautiful women!

  • Simply amazing.

  • I am. . . (o_O) I love this song.

  • I have a new respect for Sheryl Crow now, I knew she was good, but this really shows it

Stevie does a fantastic job too. Many singers will try and over sing the other person, but Stevie knows it's her song and repects it

  • Great song, awesome Ladies. No more needs to be said...

  • Thank God this song exists !!! I would marry Sheryl Crow and try to be strong enough .... She's always so great !!! I love her !!!

  • The version from Central Park of this is also pretty good.

  • thank god i accidentally clicked on this song :))))))))))))))

  • um i was just flipping through songs on youtube and this opened up and....thank god i was flipping through youtube today:))))))))))))))))))))))

  • Never saw this before I love sheryl and Stevie. I would do anything to meet both these singers.

  • 100th thumbs uper for the highest rated comment and 1500th favoriter of the video (i know i made up words and i normally dont say a stupid message like this but i just thought it was weird that i got the even numbers lol) beautiful song never heard it with Stevie Nicks but still pretty.

  • Every woman that strives to be the best form of herself that she can be always hopes that she can find a man that understands that we struggle with things that he can't understand but hope he'll still be a supportive mate. Just because we're strong doesn't mean we don't need a strong man.

  • One of my favorite songs of all time! Women are fickle and hard to understand. Someone asked can you build me a bridge to Hawaii. God said that is impossible. Ok God then tell me how to understand what a woman thinks. God says "Do you want 2 lanes or four lanes for you bridge"? Ha Ha so True!

  • @danielnordeen that was funny, LOL

  • @danielnordeen Did you read that in Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus? 'Cause it's tripe.

  • @danielnordeen it's not that tough if you don't only think of yourself

  • @danielnordeen That can be said of men too!!!

  • @danielnordeen You just haven't found the woman that thinks on the same path as you! My husband is an odd one and I can still finish his sentences and know what he's thinking. lol .... maybe I'm the odd one, but we get each other. Even after eight kids and 19 years.... Wow... that's weird to say.

  • @danielnordeen LOOK AND LISTEN - IN YOUTUBE

    OGHI -------- GATA

  • @danielnordeen We men aren't the easiest creatures to understand either - despite what endless beer commercials and our own egos would have us believe. I think it pretty much evens out in that department all things considered.

  • @sebastienpaproki2000 Grrrrrrr.....

  • @sebastienpaproki2000 oh now C'mon, sabastien, are you having a bad day?

  • I remember hearing Tom Petty say that Stevie Nicks can harmonize with anybody, and that is so true.

  • @stmon99 I really think it was the reverse - sheryl was harmonizing with stevie I noticed sheryl's voice changing pitch not stevie's

  • @stmon99 I totally agree: you can hear how well she compliments Sheryl's voice here in all directions. Not easy to do.

  • @stmon99 I agree, except for Taylor Swift. Poor Stevie couldn't even help her sound good!

  • @ceesoreel Yeah she does sound like Greatest Of All Time.

  • you gotta understand,to truly understand this song you have to have met a woman of some powerful calibre, and if like me,you have then nothing remains to be said

  • I just love the quality of their contrasting vocals. And of course... I love the sentiment of the song, as well. :)

  • both are individually brilliant, together they sound crap, 1's too old, 1's just too dang hot !!!

  • @MrPlayfulxxx Nah, I don't think Sheryl Crow's that old...

  • I approve of those harmonies.

  • I sort of saw this song as being about love with depression. Is he strong enough to love a woman, even though she's struggling with her own inner suffering? Will he stand by her when she needs him to be understanding, and let her stand on her own when she need to be free?

  • Two fabulous voices together. My favorite song for many reasons, not the least of which of which is that I'm a strong-minded woman - and want a man strong enough to deal with that.

  • when was this?

  • Sheryl's clear soprano and Stevie's gritty alto sound fantastic together.

  • @hartlyn absolutely!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • its not often to hear and blessed to see fantastic singers i love them both i am a singer starting as a quoir girl....... blah blah hahaha hearing two different tones at the same time WELL DONE GIRLS XX its beautiful xx

  • its not often to hear and blessed to see fantastic singers i love them both i am a singer starting as a quoir girl....... blah blah hahaha hearing two different tones at the same time WELL DONE GIRLS XX its beautiful xx

  • I don't know if the rumor about Sheryl joining Fleetwood Mac was true, but even if it wasn't, it would have been spectacular!

  • this would be an amazing threeway!! idmake up the numbers

  • OMG! that was ah-mazing!! i LOVE stevie nicks <3

  • WOW that was awesome

  • MY GAWD I love secure women

  • such a nice compliment to an artist when another great talent says I wanna do that song w/you

  • This is truly amazing. Stevie's deep raspy voice and sheryl's high pitch smooth voice go together so perfectly! I could listen to both of them sing for ages! I could listen to stevie all day everyday but with sheryl, I'll listen to them day and night.

  • I love the way sheryl looks at stevie she adores her just as much as the rest of us! We may never ever get the chance to sing with stevie but it's nice to know somebody that does appreciates stevie just as much as we would

  • 14 weak men disliked this song!

  • Unbeatable!!

  • 2 real divas!!!!!

  • their voices complement each other so beautifully

  • I love the way Stevie listens so well. No upstaging like all the true professionals. Lovely interplay. Solid lyrics. Tight band. Kudos!

  • this blows me away.. iv adored stevie since i could hear! wow.. and sheryl.. looks up 2 her wiv the respect.. + a kinda 'yearning 2 know' u can see it in this vid 2 fine ladies.. fantastic music x

  • Women are too prideful and insecure. They can rarely admit a mistake or say they are sorry. As if anyone would fault them for being human. Raised to get their way and to lie to daddy with an angelic smile. They feel they can change the rules as they go along. And us fellows are supposed to hang on for dear life, and try to qualify as strong enough to be your man. Just try to be honest and decent and live by the same rules as everyone. It has little to do with careers and being in a man's world.

  • @vascmana it's complex isn't it?

  • two kickass women singing a great song . back when music actually meant something.

  • Great music and great duo!!!

  • like eveything this goes both ways !!

    very enjoyable

  • I don't think anyone else could've pulled off that harmony.

  • i think it can mean so many things to so many people depending on there own there own personal situations. Me personally, I have epilepsy, and a lot of by-polar, and memory issues because of the seizure meds... He sticks around and has saved my life. he deals with me and our two beautiful boys. he is strong enough... his name is Jeremy, and he is truly a knight of truth.

  • goosies for this, yes definitely

  • i love both these women and i love this song. perfection

  • Odd life, definitely here, as a very strong redhead and a old one too, to see Stevie Nicks and Sheryl Crow together singing this song...priceless! Hang in there ladies, there are so many, many wonderful men on the planet looking for strong women like us! Love is possible!!!! And love can be true!!!!! Kisses to all!

  • @joleneryder1 Absolutely!

  • Omg I love these women

  • vvvvs

  • cool

  • I love that they looked into each others eyes throughtout the whole song, as if only they were singing to one another & only they knew how each other was feeling. they're are both amazing artist. I was only born in the 90s but i and thank my mum for introducing me to this music when i was little, as from then at a young age i learnt to appreciate what real soul music is all about!

  • THERE AINT NO GUY STRONG OR DAFT ENOUGH TO BE THEIR MEN.. UNLESS THEIR GAYLORDS..

  • there was an awkward moment at the beginning. I think Stevie wanted to give Sheryl a hug after she spoke. But Sheryl wasn't reading it.

  • Stevies Eyes at 1.15....lovely

  • @72Jensa yes

  • You won't see the video on MTV 'coz it's not an annoying ebonic rap video done up by a ghetto-punk who wears his pants hanging down.

  • Two of my favorite powerhouse recording artiste. So entertaining watching either of these woman perform.

  • These two women are amazing and this song is incredible.

Really makes you think about how you live your life as both a husband and a father.

    \m/ \m/

  • solid gold

  • Cheryl is so superficial and Stevie is just the opposite, she loves the music.

  • To be "strong" implies to be weak sometimes. This great song shows this paradigm greatfully!

Btw: I know a lot of so called "Power woman". Meanwhile I know: They are the weakest off all! Real femail power is different! ;)

  • STRONG? HOW ABOUT WILLING TO SPEND YOUR TIME ON EARTH AS A GO-FER

  • loveit

  • pshh, you didnt see no video on mtv
