Sharon O'Neill and Stevie Nicks had very different singing styles and they were both damn good but comparing them would be like comparing U2 with Coldplay.
Beautiful song. I cannot work out why Stevie Nick's name is mentioned amongst discussion threads. I just viewed Stevie, before viewing Sharon (not due to trying to compare the two women). They both have great styles, great sounds and different voices. There is nothing to compare between these two great women.
No comparison musically...just that both Sharon and she are great songwriters from the same era...Stevie was supported by "industry" and Sharon wasn't. That was all. They do not write or perform similar songs and it doesn't take a rocket scientist t know that they have completely different voices...and Sharon has certainly aged better than Stevie. Some people really need their ears checked for... leaking grey matter for trying to compare them musically ;)
She is still a great singer / songwriter and if her record company hadn't canned her career she'd have been as big if not bigger than Stevie Nicks...she is an awesome song writer and you can find her credited as co-writer with Robert Palmer and Alan Mansfield on many of Roberts songs.
I thought she was great way back when but now she just sounds like a sad knock off of Stevie Nickers. I actually paid money for this album. I think I haven't got it any more.
Such raw emotion went into singing this song, the more I listen to it the more I understand all there is to know about this fantastic singer songwriter. What a package, beautiful and talented !!
This is a beautiful song. I love the chord changes in it. It haunts you. Great video too. Someone said they could feel the words, I agree. When I listen to this song I usually play it over and over again!
Sharon you ARE perfect.... Keep on rockin.

The difference between Sharon and Stevie Nicks is that Sharon could sing and Stevie cannot.

@chrisadis Why is everyone comparing her to Stevie Nicks, is it the blond hair? She is nothing like Stevie Nicks :S

What a wonderfully understated video for this song, yet so full of emotion. She is so beautiful too.
