aww..... hes very good on the auld Guitar and the bit of singing isn't he?. Well at least he has moved on with the times just like the RTE. I'm proud to be Irish and I t wouldn't want to be listening to any of the new stuff today that's for sure to be sure
@GerryKiernen Gerry your knowledge of music truly is a match for your taste! This Brush chap isn't a musician at all, a eight year old child can play better than that, its brutal beyond belief!
@GerryKiernen He is a self righteous cock and he is not a patch on Rory Gallagher or Gary Moore to even suggest he is a better player is laughable. He gave Phil Lynott a few bass lessons in he beginning big fucking wow. The guitar intro here was painful to listen to.
@XplosivX What do you mean self righteous? The man had his band name nicked by a bunch of American pretenders, who haven't a patch on the REAL Skid Row!!
Of course Brush is the best Irish musician, no other guitar player has a patch on him, he truly is the King of Irish Rock n Roll !!
He's also a brilliant bass player, and, once I went to see him playing live, he even started playing THE DRUMS! HE'S JUST THAT TALENTED!!
@GerryKiernen I beg to differ my friend. But we are all entitled to our opinions I suppose. But to say no other guitar player has a patch on him? Ha! Have you heard the solo intro to this song? That was sloppy and not the playing of someone who is the 'best Irish musician'.
@GerryKiernen Yeah who else could play that badly? That was sloppy playing if ever I heard it, his hammer on technique was especially bad in fact it was cringe worthy. Also the embarrassing Rory Gallaghaer impression with the scat over his increasingly sloppy playing was also cringe worthy. Brush Shields real claim to fame is being associated with Gary Moore and Phil Lynott and could never get over the fact that they made it big and he got left behind. The chap is as mad as a Brush.
Brush is a true punk - never compromised - still rockin. Knew all lads back in the day in Crumlin in the 60's and early 70's. Dublin was cooler than London !!!
Saw Brush with Skid Row several times in Glasgow. Astonishing band. I still haven't recovered. Brush bought me chips after one of their gigs in Strathclyde Uni ....then they gave me a lift home in their van. All three band members were truly exceptional people and gifted players. I'm so sad to hear of Gary Moore's death. He really was unique. Such a loss. Sincere condolences from this lifetime Skid Row and Thin Lizzy fan. I expect Gary's up there right now having a natter to Phil.

What do you mean?
This guy is true legend of Irish music. He's better than ANYone out there today, and he's better than Rory Gallagher or Gary Moore.
He's even better bass player than Phil Lynott, he THOUGHT phil how to play bass, that goes to show how good the Brush is!
