Now many will come on saying I see the little dipper. My question to you is do you see 2 dippers? I am betting my life on the fact you do not and the one you are looking at is the big dipper which will lead you to the North Star if you follow the last 2 stars in the spoon to the North Star. That is where the smaller dipper should be and by the way its smaller than the one you see. Now every book on the North Star will tell you its one of the brightest stars in the sky is that what you see?

Change in the sun's apparent "position" is simply accounted for in terms of atmosphere temperature, the mirage effect being increased as per wiki/Inversion_(meteorology). Probably an effect of global warming. Nothing weird going on. The elders have made correct observations though!

Magnetic north has always been shifting. BUT in the last ten years it has moved more than it did in the previous 50 years. It has moved toward Russia. Does the earth spin on Magnetic Earth axis or what they call true north.  So no man can move the earth. Must be something bigger. I live in Tacoma Washington and I've noticed the sky looking a bit darker than normal especially when it is over cast. The sun is rising in a different angle as well. This is not the shifting of summer to winter, there is another shift going on and I feel NASA knows about this.

I've been noticing comments in blogs and newsletters saying that people have been puzzled why the sun seems to be rising and setting in different places ! No longer rising in the east, but more like north east and setting in the south west ! I live in an areas surrounded by hills, so I've missed this possible phenomenon. Is it due to an "Earth wobble" or a realignment of the Earth's axis ? Have any of you noticed this and have any explanations?

@sirwolfgang wow! yes I've just wrote about seeing the same thing! at this time in Tacoma Washington the sun rises in a different spot and sets in a different spot as well. There is something going on. People have been dealing with high and low extreme emotions as well. I think its important to stay focused in order to ride this shift.
