  • That's a great name for a cavachon. I approve. :)

  • @KageJ by the way, we use Angel Eyes in our cavachon's food and she never gets those brown tear stains by her eyes. That stuff is awesome.

  • your dog has streaks near it nose

it might mean that it cries a lot

    its sooo cute though

  • Thats to bad....my bischon was hardling ever sick, other than having him neutered only went to the vet for his shots. I believe i read that "designer dogs" are said to be healthier than a pure bred, and that mixing them is good for the breeds. My Vinnie, is a little more bulkier than my bischon was, he's a handful to hold, but his fur is so much softer. My bischon was "my" dog...he loved the rest of the family, but always preferred to be with me. Vinnie is just so happy and loves everyone.

  • What a beautiful dog! I'd love to get a cavachon one day.

  • @somnomagh Hopefully you will....I cant tell you how sweet and affectionate he is!

I had a bischon for 15 yrs, and loved him dearly.....but this dog's personality is soooo precious, he is so loving.

  • @ohiosmiles Wow! I also had a bichon for 15 years, no joke! We lost her a couple of years ago and I miss her terribly. Cavachons seem perfect, the only thing I'm worried about is health issues. Our bichon had one medical problem after another, and cavaliers seem to be worse - they all descend from six dogs left after WWII and are very genetically compromised. What I wonder is, when you mix the two breeds, do the resulting cavachons come out healthier than the parents? I hope so!
