  • Royal caribbean 4 ****

    Carnival 5*****

    Carnival rules!!!

  • RCCL FTW!!

  • I will only travel with RCCL. Carnival's activities bored me to death !!!

  • royal caribbean has way bigger ships but carnival is awesomer

  • carnival

  • It amazes me how dated the older ships look.

  • @wrinkster22 to me they dont look that dated...

  • @WamsWarrior

    Thx for the response:

i was reffering to the older ships like 1990s. My opinion has been changed. I want my next cruise to be a RCI :)

  • What is the song?

  • @valkyrexx idk

  • So what class does Adventure of the Seas stands for?

  • @BDHH100 it stands for the voyager class but that class is split into 2 generations. 1st= voyager, explorer, adventure 2nd= navigator, mariner... minor changes between them...

  • YA ROYAL CARIBBEAN WINS NO DUH YOU ROCK >:D i liked this

  • enchantment of the seas is the biggest in the vision class because the stretched in ( they cut it in half and added a 73 foot extension).

  • this is an easy choice of course RCCL

  • ROYAL CARIBBEAN

    OASIS OF THE SEAS!

    NOTHING COMPARES

  • @asianandproud007 i 1000% agree

  • I must have forgot one because I've actually been on 12 total

    Oh yea, I forgot

    Enchantment of the Seas

(recently struck by a Carnival ship - the carnival captain must of had a few too many =-)

  • I wish I could go on that many.

  • You probably can. A lot of our cruises were really cheap. We went on 3 out of miami to the bahamas for roughly $200 - $300 per person usually on the Majesty of the Seas. RCCL offer 3 and 4 day cruises that go to Nassau, Coco Cay (RCCL private Island) and Key West (4 day cruises include Key West)

You should look into them. Usually costs more for airfare then for the cruise.

  • @RCCLDisney No I can't go on that many cruises because my family has absoulutly NO money. I was lucky I went on the cruise I went on. They are just too exspensive for my family. I would love to go on another but that won't happen for atleast another year!!!!!!!! You want to make a donation to me??

  • $200 to $300 per person dollars is about as inexpensive as it gets!!

I wish I could make a donation, but I'm saving for another one. ;-)

  • It even get less exspensive but I live on the west coast and all I have is the 7 night Mex. Riviera!!!!!! I need airare for everywhere else and it is VERY exspensive!!!!!!! I'm dying to go on a cruise but it won't happen for a long time!!

  • That does stink!!! My first cruise was the mexican rivera

  • I know. What ship was that on?

  • My first cruise was on the Viking Serenade while the O.J. Simpson trial was going on. They sold it along with the Empress of the Seas (formally Nordic Empress) and the Soveriegn of the Seas (both great ships). =-(

  • @RCCLDisney Wow, Viking Serenade did the 7 night Mex.? Have you gone on Empress or Sovereign?

  • Viking Serenade was a 5 day mex.

Yes I've gone on all 3

The Nordic Empress was a Eastern Carribean out of Peurto Rico (7day)

The Soveriegn was a 7 eastern carribean out of Miami

  • Wow. For me it's wierd to hear stories from that time when Sovereign was sailing 7 night cruises and all of RC's old ships.

  • yea, I'm a crustation. I have been cruising since 1995

  • @RCCLDisney There is nothing wrong with it. You seem to have a good cruise life. Just take me on your next cruise. lol =]

  • why not, I took 35 other people last time.

Of course I paid for my 4

  • @RCCLDisney HOLY FREAK!!!!!!!! 35!!! What ship was that and what cabin did you have!!!???

  • No, No, Relax, it was a large group of friends and family. We all had our own cabins. It was on the Freedom of the Seas. My family and I talked a bunch of freinds/fam mostly novice cruisers into going. All 35 people had a great time. some even said that they had never had a better time in their life!!

I like to take a lot of people when I go, its great to see the ships again through their eyes and input.

  • @RCCLDisney I would like to take my family on a cruise but 35 is just a little too many people. I'm sure the total price for all was well over 100 grand. Am I right?

  • actually, I dont think it was.

A family of 4 (mine) cost about $3,500

we stay inside cabin with pull down bunks and I get a discount for being a Crown and Anchor Diamond Club Member.

  • @RCCLDisney How far is diamond? Well that is good it was cheap. Did you need airfare?

  • 10+ cruises with RCCL or Celebrity (you also become a member of the Celebrity Captains club). Only 1 level higher and thats double diamond (25+ cruises).

Yea, that did include air (southwest) and prenight at hotel in Miami. My wife is really good at getting deals.

  • @RCCLDisney So was the 3,500 just for the cruise or for the airfare and the night stay? Well I'm off now. Talk to you soon. =]

  • total for all not including spending money

  • Wow. that's very good!!

  • Hey, you will very happy to learn that RCCL didn't really sell the Sovereign or the Empress. They moved them from RCCL to one of RCCL's sister companies, Pullmantur Cruises.

  • @RCCLDisney I know that they are sister cruise lines but I though RC atleast got alittle money out of it.

  • Not sure, they are basically just moving ships around. I'm just glad their still in RCCL holdings.

    They are both great ships.

  • @RCCLDisney Yeah, meetoo. But in my opinion, RC should have waited alittle longer before giving their ships away, because now they are missing great itinerarys.

  • RCCL still has 21 ships, and is still doing the same itineraries. What's missing?

  • 4 night Baja Mexico. Year round Hawaii cruises would be nice. Cruises to Calica, Mexico. There are other voyages that would be nice.

  • There are problems with both the Mexican Riviera and Hawaii cruises, this is not to say that they should'nt go to those places.

The problem with the hawaii one is the same as the one to bermuda. Both places do not any ships within their waters to have a casino operating, of live entertainment. Both locations want the passengers to spend thier money ashore (this is a problem for all lines). a lot of people cruise because the love the ent. and casino. Mex. has health issues still.

  • well r u sure. becaue my teacher went on a cruise to hawaii and live entertainment was allowed?

  • Well thats what I was told when I toured a Norwegian ship in Boston that did weekly cruises to Bermuda. They told me that the same rules that applied in Bermuda, applied in Hawaii

  • She went on the Pride of America and they allowed it soo IDK.

  • when?? Cause that's great if its true!!

Would love to go to Hawaii!!

  • It was a little bit back. but i'm pretty sure cruise lines wouldn't close the theater just because some port said so.

  • They way I understood it was that it was an imposed stipulation if the cruise ship wanted to visit these particular islands because the local officials wanted the revenue from the ships. I'm pretty sure that it is still in effect for Bermuda.

  • okay well IDK.

  • Props to RCCL!

  • RCCL all the way!! I've been on Explorer of the Seas Voyager of the Seas Adventure of the Seas Empress of the Sea Viking Serenade Soverign of the Seas Freedom of the Seas Majesty of the Seas (3 times) Next is Oasis or Allure I've also been on Carnival Mirical (It Sucked)
  • Wow, 11 cruises is alot. I wish I could go on that many. Glad you like RC. =]

  • the ships of carnival are all the same and do not look nice

I've been on 3RCCL cruises and loved them and the ships are much beter

  • I totally agree!!!! Which RC cruises??

  • i've been with the

    voyager

    mariner

    and adventure of the seas

  • hmmmm. nothing but voyager class. you should try another.

  • i'm going oasis in november

  • wow, i'm jealous. u need to take me

  • I truly and honestly hate that Carnival have almost every ship class the same! Carnival's Conquest,Triumph,Splendor,Dream just are almost the same along with Carnival Fantasy class with the Carnival Holiday Class! The only one I never seen with out the class in Carnival is the Legend class! And I honestly have to go with Royal Caribbean!

  • I love RCCL

  • me too but i still have to try carnival
