Do you guys see the little white upside T shaped piece he has on his desk? That's an internal piece and if it truly does go in the cube he's solving then it might go a long way towards explaining the pops. It's under the flags, then there's one under the knife, etc...

@GeeksHeaven not really. I like it very much. I just have mine very very loose. If I were to tighten it, it shouldn't pop but I like the tension I have on it now.

Hi,

Have you compressed the spring before you assemble it?

The spring must be compressed because my design of it is to make it never get loose during all cube life. But if you forget to do this, it will make it pop like crazy.

After compressed, it can get the loose feeling as you like but no crazy pop.

About 5~10 time per each spring, compressed to the shortest length.

Don't compress it with your bare hand, It will hurt you.

Do it with a screwdriver's head or pliers.

If you still don't like the tension of it.

I heard that somebody have changed the spring to the maru spring and he said it was great.

Maybe you can try that. I will do it some day.

Anyway, I am glad that you like it, and let's make it better.
