What you don't see is the poor little piano tuner who had to crawl around on the edge putting the instrument in order after they dropped it on the crag.
Very stunning scene, very much the visual picture of this wonderful concerto; it must have been a rare, exhilarating feeling for him. Practice, practice, meine kinder -- get famous, and they will airlift you to the mountaintop too!
el dia en que pueda tocar esta pieza cabre que puedo morir en paz e ir al cielo, o a donde se diria la civinidad que guarda a grandes artistas como este

Well, Grieg is indeed acknowledged by all to be the "Master of the Miniature". But you do realize that Andsnes was quoting Grieg, yes? He did not present the "castle" comment as his own opinion after all.
yeah i was aware of him quoting grieg. but still... you cant say that this piece is not a castle. one movement and its 20 min long. this piece is definitly on my list of works to learn
Great idea, but the recording was made somewhere else, probably because the mountain lacks reverb and the piano lost its tuning due to temperature changes, I understand that. But anyway, I'd love to hear how it really sounds, must have been very raw and true.
love your "Mountain Top" video---you are truly on the top of the world. Remember when we said you are the greatest pianist in the world!!! We know even more now, that you are!!!-----and we're looking forward to hearing and seeing you when ur in SF in April and May!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Our love to you, beautiful man...You have been a true Blessing in our Life.
So talented....
