@marcuspinson it would probably kill you, those suits are only built / made to take the impact from about 50LBS of explosives......the average carbomb in ireland was 500LBS.....so to put it nicely, these suits are made to keep as much as your body together if you are killed so you can get a proper funeral

@bullrider356 That's where YOU are wrong. Clearly you get your information about EOD's from watching The Hurt Locker. Every move we make is calculated and well thought out. Also, apparently you didn't know this, but EOD's don't defuse bombs hardly ever. We use RDX or C-4 to detonate the bomb. Only if the IED or VBIED is in a high populated area that would cause civilian casualty do we ever attempt to defuse the bombs, though we are trained and trained well on how to do it.
