I read the book at Barnes on Sunday. I liked it but I think Isabel was way naive when she did not (or wanted to believe) that Sylvia was indeed, her husband's lover. How was she not the lover, she was the only woman in his life, she was the one he spoke on the phone with, she was the one he went to the opera with, she was the one he drank tea with... how come Isabel did not know for sure it was Sylvia who was stealing her husband!!!????
It seems like a unique book, one that could touch a lot of people
