  • You are good! Keep up the good work!

  • you look great! What is this song???

  • can i ask you where you got your hoop? a good size and weight?

  • can you give me some advise on chest hooping>> it would be sooo helpful. i love your hair btw. lol

  • It's good that you learned all those tricks in five weeks, but you have to work on your flow as well as tricks. Flow means everything.

  • @micky8701 Thank you, this was a video of me 2 years ago. Please see my more recent videos if you are interested in how my hooping has developed. :)

  • @ForestFaerieLaughter Well answered!

  • amazing

  • Awesomeeee

  • this is really graceful! just saying

  • no way, thats fake! it looks like computer graphics!!

  • @Im50fast stupidest comment ever thats obviously real... i have seen this shit in person and i also hoop but im not even close to as good

  • Ur great:) how do u get it from ur knees to torso? xxxx

  • I cant seem to get the vortex going! do you have any tips?

  • @MrAimzzy123 turn in the same direction as your hoop is turning (for me it is to the left). When you turn in that direction, it slows the hoop down relative to your body. This is a helpful tip for ALLL tricks to come!!

  • this is freakin awsomness!!!! loove it

  • the only trick i know is how to hoola hoop around my knees and ankles and neck while eating and drinking lol

  • your great i been learing as well......

  • You're amazing. Hope that hoola hoopin sticks around. It's fun to watch.

  • thats cool! :D

  • great video! ur good, thanks for showing us

  • super cool! i've been trying to do the one trick where you take your foot out, but i can't ever seem to get it back in! haha

  • hey jams, i have a question for ya. when you're hooping to the left and lifting the hoop with your hand behind your back, how do you keep the hoop to say horizontal? i can't seem to get enough momentum or strength to keep it flat. might be bc i'm in a small one bedroom apt and need to go outside tho lol.

  • This is really good! ... I've been learning to hulahoop and I love it so much but I get seriously frustrated with it sometimes ... I can't manage to get it back up from my knees no matter how many videos I watch on youtube or how much practice I do! I think it might be the weight of the hoop, mine is a particularly heavy 2KG ... what do you think?

  • @Loveandhulahoop

you really have to wiggle your bum HARD! and it might help if you have a lighter hoop, also it might help if you add some grip tape (hockey tape or gaffer tape). Hockey tape is much easier to come by so maybe try that out? If you make your own hoops you can make a few different sizes and weights. You'll notice that hthe hoop really speeds up as you try to get it back up. You can also lift it using your hand to bring it from your knees to waist.

  • turn with the hoop and try a series of big pushes wiht the leg your pumping with

  • you are my twin talk about synchronicity

  • @ainsheea have any videos?

  • wow u look a lot like me. thats crazy! i hula hoop too!!!

  • Wow! Congrats! This is so good! :D

  • great job! I want to start getting into hooping to tone my body! :) it looks very enjoyable and calming.

  • It's a lot of fun. It's sometimes even meditative, once you get into a groove. Most of the time, tricks aren't even important, it's just the flow that you get going with the hoop and your body. It is very relaxing once you get over the stage of "omigosh its falling!"

  • hey! I can do some tricks now! I'm working on chest hooping right now and next I want to do leg hooping. it's been too cold outside to practice and I live in an apt. but now I'm picking it up very quickly and I'm very excited! I FINALLY learned the lift up and angle hooping and I can get it from my waist to my neck and back down again! It's so much fun!

  • really awesome!

i'm trying to learn how to do all this stuff i want to get into hula hooping, and really, eventually want to get a fire hoop.

i really enjoy fire arts, i already do poi, but best i start out with a regular hula hoop first. =]

  • Definitely!!

  • you can do really good chest hooping and leg hooping! good work!

  • hey u r goood and i can do most of those moves to im havin trouble with the one legged hula hooping at ur knee

  • This is so great because not only do you do a number of moves, but you do them at a slow enough pace that beginners can see exactly how you do them! You're very graceful, thanks for sharing.

  • omg ur really good i wish i could be as good as u i can only walk on my knees and and jump over stuff and dance and turn around

  • dude just give it time, and practice :)

  • wow u should cosplay as Tira! that would make you more extra mega super cool because ur videos here is super cool!

  • ooooo impressive almost looks fake!

  • for five weeks this was awesome girl! I like watching beginner videos from hoopers....its nice to see where you started and how your flow ended up so nice :)

  • i love it, youre awesome. i just wonder what videos you have found on youtube that helped you. i am having a really hard time with the lasso trick, when you bring it up with your right hand and down with your left. maybe you could make a tutorial video!!

  • great control. i am inspired.

  • This is a video from a year ago. Your comment is lame.

  • yes kudos to u this is a good vid~i've been tryin to learn tricks too and i like to watch videos for inspiration! :)

  • for a beginner I think she's doing great, like the previous poster.....she's a natural, plus the music is terrific!

  • great technique! i'm a new hooper and all i can do right now is a 360 turn, walk front and back and hoop on both sides! lol

  • Nice one!!! Thats ace. how many classes did that take! your a natural!

  • Ah! You look great! I'm envious. How do you do the trick where you are lifting the hoop over your head, switching hands, bringing it back down, etc? (like at 0:06-0:18).

I can only lift the hoop up and back down--and only right at my waist.

  • 5 weeks! You look great! you're a natural

  • I can't hoop around my legs or knee's for the life of me... nice job : )

  • well done sweety ...you are amazing...

for me icant hooping very well every time i tried to hoop its falling down to earth :(

idont know why its fall...ihave been watched videos on youtube but it doesnt work with me :( ...can you give some advice how to hoop?

  • just keep trying!!! It took me a few hours before I could keep it up for a long time. You could also try making your hoop heavier by wrapping tape around it. Electrical tape or hockey tape is great!

  • thnx dear... but how about he size i noticed from videos that they used a large size of hula hoop??

my hula hoop is 73 centimeter and i think its small

so is the size realated to hooping well??

  • If you have a larger hoop, I think it will be easier to hoop, because it will go around your body slower, giving you more chance to move around inside the hoop. The circumference of my hoop is 10 feet. The diameter is... (let me measure) 100 cm. There are plenty of tutorials online that show you how to make your own hoops, if you haven't made one before. I think that's the trick, if you make your hoop custom to you :)

  • i would like to know if you noticed a waist reductionafter you started to hoop regularly? i've been told that but i don't know if it is true.

  • I haven't noticed a waist reduction, but I never really measured in the first place. I can tell that my abs hurt a lot after hooping for several hours straight! ;) So it does work those tummy muscles, and probably would. I have also heard that hooping is the 'new great way to exercise!' so I definitely recommend it!

  • thats cool!

  • cool!

  • WOW!

It's been a year and a half for me and I just now got the one knee trick. You're doing fantastically!

  • 5 weeks??!! That's great! Sheesh I better pull my finger out...! How often do you have lessons?

  • I don't have lessons. I learned through youtube videos and also self-taught.

  • Yeah, great job!!! I made my first video at the 5 week mark too. I am going on 7 weeks now. I just met up with Sandra last week and had a learning session with her too, she is a good teacher. Anways, just stumbled on your video through search.

  • You look amazing for 5 weeks! I still can't pull my leg out when the hoop is around my knees. Awesome job!

  • weee your awesome
