Thank-you, this is very interesting. When I was 6, my tonsils (throat) had to be removed. I nearly died from after-bleeding, with a 2.3 HB. I was diagnosed with Von Willebrand. 2 years ago, all people in Holland (where I live) with Von Willebrand had to have a check up. It turned out I didn't have von Willebrand anymore. I find it a mystery. But just yesterday I was allowed to have a wisdom tooth pulled regularly: at the dentist. It went ok, without very heavy bleeding. I'm now 22.

My sister who is 36 was just diagnosed with this disease. I'm going to go get tested as well.
