Wow...every time I watch this intro, I realize how INCREDIBLE the graphics were at the time. For a game made in 2004? That was unheard of. And even nowadays its graphics and realism still stand up to games like Fallout: New Vegas and maybe even Mafia II. I guess it depends on what style you're looking at, but it's still incredible that a game this great was made 6 years ago.

Nobody really knows what the G-Man is, does, works for etc. All we know is he seems to have supernatural powers, takes orders from higher-up, and doesn't really take sides.
Sure, for some people other games better, but that's all usually related to nostalgia ect. Even from a purely technical perspective, Half Life 2 IS the best game ever made. You have to take into account the time it was released. Never before or after that has there been a more giant raising of the bar than there was with Half Life 2.
i started half life 2 some weeks ago (never played the original) and i seen this gman guy 4 times and yet i dont understand his role. i tried to shoot him once xD but he got away before i pointed the gun
G-man may not evenbe human and may be a angonist (bad guy) because of using Gordon, Alyx and many others as pawns. Especilly when Alyx tells Eli about "unforseen conququenses"

i started half life 2 some weeks ago (never played the original) and i seen this gman guy 4 times and yet i dont understand his role. i tried to shoot him once xD but he got away before i pointed the gun

G-man may not evenbe human and may be a angonist (bad guy) because of using Gordon, Alyx and many others as pawns. Especilly when Alyx tells Eli about "unforseen conququenses"
