well stated 022171 they broke the mold and if you looked in Websters dictionary for Catcher his face should be right next to it.Not just a catcher,ptching coach,player manager,team leader and just simply the best baseball player i have ever saw.What he added to the game was incredible and its why he is dearly missed today.Miss you Commander

stubborn, defiant, surly, savvy, tough as nails, unbelievably hard working, and filled to the brim with moxie. for me, these are all qualities that define the position of catcher, probably because they define my all-time favorite ballplayer: this man right here. thanks for posting this.
