kratom IS addicting if done daily. If you take it daily for a while, a few months for example, expect 2 or 3 days of not feeling so great when you stop (muscle ache, insomnia, lethargy, wishing you had some kratom etc). Which then gives way to a nice feeling of being brand new again.
This journalist should do some genuine research instead of pushing tripe on the viewers. One person's negative experience with Kratom doesn't really mean much.

and you can´t geel the effect immediately because your body must distract the active components. that takes at least 15 minutes. all feelings before that 15 minuts are placebo. and kratom is not so expensive i don´t understand what kind of things make her problems... i don´t get it serieusly. i used kratom more the 4 years...on AND off, never ever sick

I have been using kratom habitually for 3 years now. It gets rid of my anxiety and depression. When I forget to order a new supply and run out I dont have any withdraw symptoms.The only bad thing that happens is my anxiety comes back. I'm familiar with this product and this is NOT true facts!! I know many opiate addicts that have won their battle of addiction using kratom. You don't get "high" from small doses whatsoever! And if you try to take too much, you will vomit. Kratom doesn't replace the "high" from addiction to serious drugs. It only takes away the withdrawals that can be impossible to handle. After the withdrawal period of the hard drugs, you can stop taking the kratom with no problems with small dosing.

Most people who start Kratom for whatever reason will defend it and preach about its benefits only to see the plant for what it really is down the road when they realize it has become a big problem in their life. People who use this plant to escape opiate addictions, are at the end of the day only switching drugs. Overly dramatic news story, but some truth hidden in there:
kratom IS addicting if done daily. If you take it daily for a while, a few months for example, expect 2 or 3 days of not feeling so great when you stop (muscle ache, insomnia, lethargy, wishing you had some kratom etc). Which then gives way to a nice feeling of being brand new again.

and you can´t geel the effect immediately because your body must distract the active components. that takes at least 15 minutes. all feelings before that 15 minuts are placebo. and kratom is not so expensive i don´t understand what kind of things make her problems... i don´t get it serieusly. i used kratom more the 4 years...on AND off, never ever sick

I've been more severely addicted to Kratom than anyone else I've ever met. I was living off the stuff. No way in hell is it "more addictive than heroine". I started to take kratom because peple said it worked great as a painkiller, and itsure did, I thought kratom was my savour after having years and years of kidney pain. Now I'm hooked on kratom, I can't get off it, I've been hooked on codiene before and got of that no problem, but kratom wont let me go, the withdrawels are out of this world bad, I'm worried I'm gonna have to go rehab, I dont see any other way. Is anybody else addicted? Please IM me, I need help.

Most of this story is falsified facts. 1. Dr. Rodriguez loses credibility when he says "the kratom leaf is the worst thing to take", when in actuality, the leaf, stem, vein (powder included) contains the alkaloids , 9-hydroxycorynantheidine and Corynantheidine, which are antagonists. 2. "Experts" gave highly addictive drugs to her and advocated the ban of "natural medicines" (the UN codex Alimentarius agenda) 3. Although there are countless success stories, not one positive thing was said here.

It should be pointed out that Mitchel says of her own accord that she was put on an opioid blocker. This of course is commonly known as suboxone, and is synthetic and extremely hard to get off of. The $30,000.00 for one month of treatment is usually the price to stay for a month at a high end, luxury, spa style treatment center. Many people know, Kratom has saved lives, and has incredible healing properties. This story is heartless, and one-sided. Sadly, this is the lowest form of journalism.

I have been using kratom habitually for 3 years now. It gets rid of my anxiety and depression. When I forget to order a new supply and run out I dont have any withdraw symptoms.The only bad thing that happens is my anxiety comes back. Sometimes I havent had enough money to order more for a month or so. I simply do without. I have been addicted to almost every street drug there is and this herb is not addictive.

Here's the deal: kratom is potentially more addictive than pretty much anything because it's a cornucopia of various stimulants and narcotics. BUT, the physical danger is virtually nonexistent. The US government has no basis to criminalize it.

Sounds like she paid $30,000 to end up get prescribed an addictive partial opiate substance like suboxone / buprenorphine which I'm willing to bet she is still taking. Now she really is a drug addict now as she's taking an actual opiate. I'd like to see a followup interview with her when she tries to stop the Suboxone that the Dr. prescribed to her. She's probably getting high as hell of the Suboxone as anyone who doesn't use opiates would.

By their logic, just because someone prefers something to heroin means that that thing is "more addictive than heroin." Perhaps that is because heroin is universally detested because of how dangerous it is and Kratom is not dangerous at all.

I'm familiar with this product and this is NOT true facts!! I know many opiate addicts that have won their battle of addiction using kratom. You don't get "high" from small doses whatsoever! And if you try to take too much, you will vomit. Kratom doesn't replace the "high" from addiction to serious drugs. It only takes away the withdrawals that can be impossible to handle. After the withdrawal period of the hard drugs, you can stop taking the kratom with no problems with small dosing.
